HT 1-0. Both teams had chances to add to goals. McDonald's miss just after the goal was criminal. Lucky escape for Boruc in what should've been a routine save. Severin playing very well.

I don't think a value of upwards of £6million would be outrageous to be honest. I would want to keep him though as he has the potential to earn us more in the CL.
-
The celebration was over-exuberant, even by Boyd's standard, whom I love watching celebrate.
-
At least according to the express and as quoted by Walter.

Had a hard time of it recently with his scoring "drought", but the big man loves to hit the back of the net as seen by his celebrations. It's the only time he doesn't look like a sour faced git. My favourite sight from yesterday: Look at him after the initial emotion has faded though:

Hadn't even thought of that mate. Must be about only the second time Boydie has done it. Thats the attitude you want to see from the guys coming off the bench though. Can still get odds against somewhere (betdaq I think) if anyone wants it. Be interesting to see what happens if they drop points today.

£50k is the supposed fee. Must have really had a poor time of it at Leicester as I certainly thought he was worth more than that. Agree with the comments above though.

Aye, not working for me atm, will try again later.

How'd you manage that.
-
Well Brondby fucked me out of 60 quid today. Hope the rest of you had better luck.

Always good to see them again. Buba the resident highlights provider.

I think we'll all agree that we look a better side playing 4-4-2 (yes there is a place for 4-5-1-) and that is how we should line up in the majority of SPL games. So on that basis who should start up top against Killie and perhaps into the next few fixtures. I'll start with the obvious. Sebo is not in contention. Cousin is in rich goalscoring form since joining the club and seems to be the most well rounded of our strikers with pace, aerial ability and two good feet. It seems most peopel have him down as a MOM contender today and he must get one of the slots. His starting strike partner seems to have had an unfortunate afternoon. many see him only as a supersub, however I have stated this cannot continue for ever in my opinion. Being benched after every good substitute performance will lead him becoming demotivated as he has no incentive to perform when he comes on. He finally got the start many demanded he got and that he had earned. But it was not his day. Normally iwould not advocate dropping a form player after one bad game, however Nacho is in the unenviable position of seeing the other strikers come on and get amongst the goals, so it should be one of the other two. Darcheville came on late today and grabbed his first two goals for the club as well as setting one up. His direct running causes problems and today he scored two Kris Boyd-esque goals; right place right time to slot away the rebounds. However I really want to see Cousin and Boyd play a few games togeteher. I think these two could flourish as a partnership. Boyd ended is own goalscoring drought breaking his duck for the season. A crossball from Cousin was struck behind him but he turned well to fire the ball in from 8 yards. He is our most natural finisher and given the games he will finish top of the scoring charts again. He also had a hand in two others. A good backpost header hit the joint of the crossbar and post which fell kindly to JCD to tuck away. Boyd also got on the end of a good move that ended with a cross ball from Fergie. His run was well marshalled by the defender and the ball again broke to JCD to tuck away. I really think a partnership of Cousin and Boyd could take the SPL by storm and fire us into the CL (although expect 451 for that one).

Poor highlights. So many goals they didn't have time to show Hutton's "goal", Boyd's "pen" or a few other incidents.

Good assessment. I think with the squad size now, though, we will need to shift a few of the "duds" to bring in any more players who will genuinely push for a starting place. Sebo to go as he will not get in ahead of Cousin, Boyd, Darcheville or Novo anytime soon and maybe Burke and Murray.

Thomson at £2million and Whittaker at about £2million as well or Brown for £4.4million. Who at the momment do we reckon got the better deal. Us or them. Also anyone know the wages comparison? Brown is on circa £25k.

Congrats mate.

A link was posted on FF that supposedly works every week for a radio feed of the game. I'll have a look for it and post it in here fow when you can't get video for the game. Edit: Here you go: mms://a924.l609521699.c6095.g.lm.akamaistream.net/D/924/6095/319274370/reflector:21699

I forgot how frustrating this is. Hardly missed a game last year with my ST and tv. Only listened to one or two on radio.
-
As i've said, not watching, but guys on FF who are, are making out as if we're playing the great ajax side passing through as at will. Is it just the usual ott pish over there or are Falkirk really dominating the game? Anyone able to confirm?
-
Whittaker winning a corner, with his first run after 17seconds, that we score from. Good start from him.
-
Gonna be listening on the radio today. Words can't describe how much I hate that.
-
Official site team news I wasn't far out with my team. Boyd instead of Whittake with Novo pushed up top. Edit: Bollox, RB just beat me too it.
-
He's always linked with Celtic isn't he? Have they ever wanted him or is this down to his agent?
-
Lol, your not alone there mate.

Didn't bother reading it til after I posted . By the time I realised my mistake I couldn't be arsed to change. I agree with your interpretation of the article, but hope we're wrong.
