Only other contender for Motm, as I say at HT I would've picked him. Just felt Thommo stepped it up second hald and edged it for me.
-
I think (and hope) you're right mate. Hope you get a ticket, assuming Red Star get through today .
-
Nope, signed after the deadline for that round. Eligible for the Red star (probably) game.

And after the sale of Gordon the EPL are back to taking the piss with their bids for players north of the border. You look at some of the money they've wasted down there on their own mediocre players; Richardson £5.5mil.

Was going to say that. Quick work. Said in the other thread, Thommo from Papac. The professional performance, controlling play and not giving chances to the opposition, whilst not comitting to many forward to acheive the main aim, combined with the paucity of opposition meant few would stand out for motm. No much too wrong, but not too much right either. Well done KT. Edit: Just read your ratings. Only disagreement is that Hemdani deserved a 7 if that's what you gave Fergie and also with so many others getting 6. Keeping in line with your other's Hemdani was a 6 at best. Not that Fergie was great but was better than BH. Also McGregor, Broadfoot, Darche, McCulloch and Beasley were at least as good.

Agree with all of that. Professional if uninspiring performance. Did our job well containd them and defended our lead very well. Nicked one late to seal the tie. First half I was looking at Papac MoM, however I would give it to Thomson, although not a lot of competition for it tonight. Cuellar and Weir didn't have their usual flawless performance, but were still solid. So the rest: Mcgregor had one shocking error at a cross but got away with it, solid for what little else he had to do. Broadfoot was solid although is not a right back. Hemdani still struggling with early season form. Fergie was decent enough, worked hard. Beasley looked better on the left. Good finish, good movement from Thommo at the goal. McCulloch was solid again, got stuck. Harshly penalised at every header. Copes well with moving to various positions. Darcheville worked hard although our style of play meant little would be created for the loan man. Subs Novo worked hard when he came on. Adam had little time to impress.

Aye, having options is not something we're used to. Also i've seen a few rumours reappearing recently but expected better of you Cammy

Team Tonight - Boyd makes the bench, JCD starts
Super_Ally replied to alanmidd's topic in Rangers Chat
I posted earlier on in the Zeta 2nd leg thread that Novo may not start due to a comment made by Walter and also Broadfoot was a certain starter. There weren't too many other uncertainties about who would play tonight. Feel very sorry for Novo, coming off the bench a few times and playing well, scoring or getting assists. Very harsh on the wee man. Would have had him in on the right, Lee up top, Darche benched. Oh well, c'mon the Rangers. -
Now thinking Cuellar first goal 33/1 or anytime 10/1. Or maybe try McCulloch again who I had last time for first goal (scored 2nd ) available at 7's. (12/5 anytime).

The jhoke McConnel school of politics? Make a mountain out of a molehill to try and deflect from your ineptitude in every other aspect of your job.

Aye I meant Lee and DMB supporting from the flanks to almost make a 3 in attack and as you say dropping back to make a midfield 5 when we don't have possession. Good call to get Novo signed up. Well worth what I am sure is a reasonable wage for the contribution he can and will make throughout the season.

That's what gets me. Trying to tackle a society wide problem by only dealing with what is, imo, the minor aspect of football and "90 minute bigotry". If this country was serious about it they'd look at some of the bigger issues such as state funded sectarian schooling. Just goes to show they aren't serious about tackling bigotry.

On the official site, Walter has said Broadfoot will come in. Also read a line that suggests Novo may not start; Boss weighs up striking options Could be a "front 3" of McCulloch, Darche and Beasley then?

Well what the fu ck do I know? Eightball, apparently the mhockitts booed their lot off at HT and FT on Sunday as well.
-
Should've asked me, i'd have told you he'd be a good signing .
-
Missed the opening 15. Two committed teams. A few shocking tackles but I think it's down to a desire to win rather than malice.
-
You take any photos of them mate? Did you pass on my no. 2?
-
You'd never start a season with an OF, so I'm suprised I haven't seen more claims of west coast bias. Fancy Hearts tonight as Hibs have sold a lot of their best players, but who knows what's going on down Tynecastle way.

Official site pics - Gers in Montenegro Don't take this the wrong way as I'm a fan of Allan, decent no.1 imo. But why are the official site pics an homage to AM?

With the football off for a while we didn't see many of these. Doesn't look like there's much value in us tomorrow. Anyone got any good betting tips for our game or the round of qualifiers in general? Was thinking of maybe taking Rangers to nil (to win is only 11/20) but bet365 don't have any odds on that.

Tbh in this pc gone mad society and with the MOPE's well ahead in the mock offence stakes I am coming round to the same opinion as those who suggest the only way we can defend ourselves is to take the same tack and complain about every imagined offence possible. Widespread and mass complaints to every available media outlet and football related bodies. The mhanks brought it here though. And the above is not a defence of FT P etc that has to go, merely a defence of wrongful attacks on inoffensive (although perhaps irrelevant to football) behaviours.

Home or away? Are Sochaux not fairly average? On a slightly related note, I was reading some info from a few fans who seem to know French football. One said that draws are very common with the another saying under 2.5 goals being a great bet. The weekend just gone 7 out of 8 games would've come up if betting under 2.5 goals. An interesting betting tip i'd never heard before that others may wish to look at, will keep an eye on this for the next few rounds of games before maybe making a bet. One of the fans I mentioned just went for a double I think, but it came up.

Fair do's mate. Can't even remember what he wrote anyway. I foolish do post on said site, but don't know why. Quite a few with extreme views and I just end up getting p*ssed off.
-
Many problems on said forum. Don't blame for being disenchanted with it.

Another good statement. Spot on. Can't get away from the fact that this is nothing but a witch hunt. How any sane minded person can disagree that sectarian schooling will lead to greater problems than a bit of singing at a football game is beyond me. But as I say, they aren't really interested in sorting out the real root causes of the "sectarian problem".
