  1. :box: I'll not make that mistake again.
  2. I like it. Think you're winning the impromptu caption comp.
  3. Should've made it a poll.

    Walter

Rangers manager watches on as Celtic's forwards take part in shooting practice:  From today's training pics.
  5. Hope that's true. Everyone likely knows i'm not his biggest fan but 3 players for 2-3 positions is very light. I hope that the rumours of him being unsatisfied with being rested are untrue. However I will say it will be interesting how some of the pro PLG/anti Boyd fans react to this news as I see some fans giving Boyd grief for being unhappy with Le Guen leaving him out. This doesn't look good:
  6. You can't see where there goals will come from and our defence looks very stingy. Also we have goals in that team; Boyd, McCulloch, Fergie and Adam. On paper it looks a rout. Shame football isn't played on paper. The non-OF team is hard to call. (Teale and Fletcher shoudl be swapped btw). They have some strong players; Gordon, Fletcher, O'Connor and McFadden. But are let down by poor players in key positions such as Dailly, Teale and Beattie.
  7. Would be great to see him sometime soon. I know he played in one of the friendlies in Germany. Fans need to be patient with him though.
  8. Agree with this comment. Would be an odd decision to let him go because, as Frankie points out, we don't have an abundance of options in central midfield.
  9. I'm hoping to see them link up this weekend and then we can really judge whether or not it's likely to work.
  10. Forgot to add, my money would still be on Boyd.
  11. Cards on the table time. Which Ger will be our top scorer? Main options are: Boyd: 2 years running SPL top scorer, although 1 goal off the pace already. 10/11 Cousin: Current joint top scorer. Likely to be considered for games that Boyd may not as he could potentially play as the loan striker which could prove an advantage. 6/4 Fergie: Tied with Cousin as top scorer. Walter has given him the task to push on more this season. Unlikely that a midfielder will outgun the strikers. 2/1 JCD: Took him a while to grab his first for the club, but bagged a double against Falkirk. Not a renowned scorer and may fall away from the other strikers. 7/5 Adam: 2nd top last year so would be rude not to include him. Lack of starts makes it highly unlikely. 4/1 Novo: Supersub can hit the target from off the bench. May struggle for teh regular starts to take top spot. 3/1 I'm not offering those odds btw. Just random odds for a bit of banter.
  12. There is that. A useful player in a crisis due to his versatility, but never likely to feature this term.
  13. Just because its not been mentioned here, no fee and yet Celtic get >£1m for the likes of Beattie.
  14. Bloody hell, I knew it was a coupel of subs, but that makes it even more impressive.
  15. Later today mate. Thought i'd wait til the int'ls were over.
  16. Also filled it out. "Do the media sensationalise the issue of sectarianism?"
  17. Can't disagree with any of you predictions.
  18. Sounds pretty good, but then that's SDM in his element isn't it? LOL @ no. 3. Could you explain point no. 2 to me, i'm a bit thick when it comes to the financial side of things. The club says it was not a mistake, but does that hold up to scrutiny?
  19. Yep, although the only games I think we should be doing that in would be away v Italy and France from the current group imo. I wouldn't play Miller as one of the 2 in 442, but can see in value to the team and the strategy when playing away to a stronger team.
  20. Virgin media decided it would go tit up 14 mins into the game so didn't get to see bugger all of it. Was wondering if any guys who watched it could give a detialed report of how the two Rangers boys got on. Obviously Boydie won the game but looking for a bit more than that. Hope Alan did himself justice, because on club form he's on of the few players who should be guaranteed his position in the qualifiers. From the little I saw on the highlights he seemed to do well enough in defence. The attacker managed to get a couple of yards away from him once to put a poor cross in but that seemed about it. Looked comfortable on the ball, got fouled a couple of times, nothing serious. Covered the CB's on at least one occassion. Perhaps not as good going forward as recently?
  21. Boyd 6 goals in 10 games. How many as sub though. Miller 9 goals in 32 games. I know who i'd pick? Unfortunately we're stuck with Misser due to the loyality shown in international football.
  22. Just a bit of banter guys, hope noone gets to offended by this.
  23. I'm pretty sure Broadfoot is considered a LB as well as a CB and whilst Murray has been linked with a move and it may still happen, any stories so far have been rubbished.
  24. Hopefully this will be the end of hearing that at Ibrox.
  25. Has an impact on your seeding for qualifiers thoug hdoes it not? We were 14th back in May. Agree though, generally they are bollocks.
