What chance the match delegate will actually have highlighted the behaviour of the scum support? Perhaps a retrospective addition to his match report will be on the cards.
-
And when the SFA/SPL continually neglect to do their job what do we do?
-
That's the kind of comment/statement I was asking for. Not chastising referees, but showing up Celtic.
-
Been thinking that pretty much the entire time he has been here, but people go nuts if you make an honest opinion because of the type of player he is (i.e. attacking, winger).

YouTube - Almeria 1-1 Sporting Towards the end of the vid. Good strike. Anyone been following how he's doing?

Was looking for a relevant thread to post this as I don't think it requires it's own thread. Anyways: Edit: Just had a quick look on the BBC website. 3 red cards for opposition teams to one for Celtic too. For Rangers it's two opponents sent off and one bear. Must be a nightmare having these refs against them eh?

Oooft 13-0. Sounds like it was a better match to watch than the first team at St Mirren!

Added in the CL and League Cup ties we have too. Can I put myself forward for Man U then?
-
I think people are missing the point. At no point, and I have reiterated this fact, have I suggested haranguing a referee. I refer to making a statement (or some other move) about Celtic and their attempts to pressure referees and the SFA.
-
I was thinking a different tact. More a pointing out of how pathetic Celtic are and how every team must suffer poor decisions but that we are able to win in spite of them. I wasn't suggesting houding the ref.
-
What do we do about the disallowed goal today then? Unlike Celtic's complaints at the United game we have genuined cause for complaint in that the wrong decision was made. The ref imagined an infringement. I don't think we can continue with the dignified silence. We have seen that the media will support their moans and run with it to the point that everyone now ignores the fact that the correct decision was made with that non penalty. The media will also help them push their campaign that Celtic get a raw deal with decisions. But that is clearly not true. It would be better to say something after winning a game, so it doesn't look like sour grapes. But what to do, what to say? How to address it?

In the Man Utd penalty box. Rangers victory!
-
It was an absolute farce then and only looks worse now. Especially alongside the Scotland case you highlighted.

I was just taking the piss there. The reason I singled out McCulloch for needing a big game in helping Fleck, still a relatively young and inexperienced player also returning from long term injury absence, is he is immediately beside Fleck in the engine room where dominance of possession and potentially territory will be run and lost. Being serious about Davis he is one of our most gifted players and needs to find the form and perhaps the effort and heart to dictate games as he can.

I'll never tire of bringing this up, the sheep fans must be pleased to have got rid of the orange bastards previously in charge.

Tribal contest with Neanderthal supporters
Super_Ally replied to ian1964's topic in General Football Chat
Cheers. Unlike the mhanks i'm not obsessed by the men in black. That's my excuse. Pretty much lays the blame at their door and excuses as, which is how it should be. Bitter twisted bunch. Just used to seeing us tied in with their indiscretions under the guise of "Old Firm". -
Tottie, I think it's obvious that Fleck would have seen more game time had he not had his injury troubles. As you point out though, the John Fleck's are few and far between for us. Speaking of Perry, an Oxford fan comes into my gym, said that he was impressed by Perry. He went down there with Kinniburgh who at the time was rated the better prospect, but this guy rated Perry better. Was disappointed not to get him back. Obviously a pishy level of football, but first team experience none the less. Did Perry not partner Wilson at the back for Scotland youth teams.

Agreed, but he'll be too busy hiding out on the right. :fish:

Thats not a bad team Frankie, but would require a big game from McCulloch to help his central midfield partner through the game.

Who is George Cumming? Nice to see that we aren't being accused for their failings for once. -
Really need a win to get back on track after the last few results. We do not want to concede the advantage and top of the league spot that the Old Firm win gave us. A bit of freshening up of the team might not hurt. It's good to see we took maximum points off St Mirren in the SPL last season and we should be good enough to keep that run going.

The English, Cole, Bale and Left Backs
Super_Ally replied to Super_Ally's topic in General Football Chat
I never said Cole wasn't top quality. I just don't think he's the very best in the world in his position and I think that too often people ignore wing backs defensive deficiencies just because they are good going forward. They are defenders first and foremost.
