Celtic 1 - 3 Rangers - Celtic shat their pants

Who renamed this thread then? -
Our 100% record that is? Next few fixtures: 30/10 Inverness (H) 07/11 St. Mirren (A) 10/11 Hibernian (H) 13/11 Aberdeen (H) 20/11 Kilmarnock (A) 28/11 Dundee Utd (A) Before anyone starts shitting bricks, I know "take it one game at a time" etc etc. Just a wee bit of fun. Potentially our next game where you might expect us to slip up is not until the end of November at Tannadice. Prob means dropped points in an "easier" game like St Mirren or Killie then.

Dont think you'll get any arguments on here. Been the form player in the country so far.

It's fucking great being a Bear! -
When any mhank tries to talk about Jig getting his marching orders for a 2nd yellow for a wee nudge on Samaras, point this out about his first yellow: Black takes out Jelavic for 4 months - booking Stokes attempts to break Hamill's leg - booking Stokes attempts to end Papac's career - booking Samaras kicks Naismith from behind, late and with studs showing - booking (This is despite him continually fouling all game) Lee McCulloch makes a brilliant challenge to take the ball cleanly - booking

"Fuck off ya baldy cunt". (Apologies ladies. ) No not you Gav, Majwhatshisnamey-ic -
Ha ha. Maybe. I've got no clue as I have no experience with that sort of stuff.

Anyone able to mock up something with Smith as an executioner, all Smith's previous opponents in the Celtic hotseat beheaded or something around him and Lennon next on the chopping block? Would be class I think.

Tying players up on longer contracts and our future

I cant see Miller going anywhere. Has never had the success elsewhere that he has under Smith in dark blue and royal blue. -
Looks like he's looking right at it: http://willievass.photoshelter.com/gallery-image/241010-Celtic-v-Rangers/G0000APntnfTRbk8/I00001.MWlwvLqUE In the sky videos you cant see where he is or precisely where he's looking as the contact is made. In this pic and Willie Vass' others you can. Clear view.

By the way, thats 5 out of 9 games we've won from behind in the league right? Quite an unusual stat surely? Well in Ian. -
Which begs the question; was Walters judgement on a centre back out for the first time since he returned and Loovens is just shit, or could Walter have made him a player?

After last week and the referee eventually overturning his error and correctly disallowing a penatly, Celtic feel aggrieved. Not aggrieved because they believe the decision was wrong. I never heard that argument. They just don't like the fact that the incident was "against" them. After today's game we see a similar claim: Again, he does not deny it is a penalty. He says it is soft. That is far different to saying it should not be given. So in spite of a correct decision, they are annoyed because Lennon doesn't think the ref saw it. Perhaps the SFA/SPL and the referees need to consult Celtic about when and when not can they give correct decisions that might not be favourable to Celtic.

I cant remember exactly when in the match, believe it may have been second half, but Crocker made a comment about Celtic beating us to Loovens signature. Iirc did we not sign Boogie instead. So regardless of whether or not they beat us to Loovens signing I think we can all see who the real winners are there. Possibly the best player in Scotland for the past few years or that poncey-haired muppet Celtic have. Even Ridiculous slagged him after the game. Do we honestly believe Walter wanted a defender who is that bad anyway? Or would Smith have made him a player. Either way, thank fuck we never got him and have Madjid instead.

He did an awful lot right and a little bit wrong imo. In the end I'm convinced he had no influence on the end result though, which is what you hope for.

One thing I hadn't mentioned yet, but which Leggat has reminded me, Miller's finish was indeed top notch. Leggat is like the anti-Speirs. Another great read.

I'm quick to slate refs so I have to say overall Collum did very well. Couple of incidents good and bad though. He started very well not allowing Stokes (more on him later) away with a shocker just because it was the first 5 mins. Why though did he have to "even it up" by booking McCulloch for a perfectly legal tackle. To further compound that mistake though, he never booked Samaras at about 18/19 mins for a similar tackle to McCulloch's, the difference being McCulloch played the ball and the Greek just went through the man? 2) When Ki I think got booked I was glad Collum never did the usual even it up trick you get with any handbags or flash incident by also booking the victim. So often when players come face to face after a bad challenge both the perpetrator and the victim get booked by the ref in some inexplicable way of keeping it even and not upsetting anyone. However i'm not sure how giving someone a deserved booking and then giving the same punishment to an innocent party is fair. Pet hate of mine and I'm glad Collum didn't fall into that trap. 3) Collum was nigh on excellent up until the 87th minute when Samaras should have walked (bearing in mind he should already have been on a yellow) when he came through the back of Naismith with no intention to play the ball. 4) Ki in particular had a fancy for pulling his own legs from under himself when anyone was behind him. There is a difference between someone coming through the back of you and someone feeling a little pressure and taking a dive. Aside from the ref and onto Stokes. Always thought he was a decent player at Hibs, but turns out he was like Aberdeen or the tims who aren't good enough to play for them in Grady etc. He just played his heart out against and for Celtic it's been shown he isn't that good. Just a dirty rat kicking everything that moves. His use of the ball was often shocking today and added little but fouls. What bodes well for the season ahead is that we beat them comfortably in their midden without being excellent. We were just fairly decent imo. If we really hit form against them and the rest there can only be one outcome. :spl: -

I disagree, I didn't feel like a goal was coming at all. They might have had more of the ball but weren't doing much with it. Switch off just before half time though and that can happen.
