Who’d pay for it ?
can’t see the wee clubs being happy to pay for something they weren’t getting ( if they got a vote)
It seems that the SPFL clubs will pay (estimated at around £100,000 a year) but all 42 clubs will vote, presumably on the belief that as any of the non SPFL clubs may at some time reach the SPFL, they would then have to contribute. This could be a hefty sum for teams being promoted to the SPFL
It seems to me that it should be the SPFL as a body who pay for VAR. The amount (around £1m a year) would have to be deducted from the payment made to clubs.

Let's hope they are now concentrating on the league and don't want to be distracted by a European competition they did not want to be in.😊

Can you imagine some of the Scottish referees in a wee VAR studio with no one to question their authority I can almost hear it , what game have I got oh the Rangers game well there's no way they'll be winning.
It might work in other countries but it will never work in the religious bigoted Scottish game
I think the reason VAR seems to work so well in European games is that the referees are better. They therefore do not miss so many incidents and VAR is used rarely. Should VAR come to Scotland, a big problem is the lack of good referees. On a match day when all teams are playing, are there the numbers for the VAR studio. Also, as our referees are not good enough, the dangers is that they will make fewer decisions, relying on VAR to make the decision for them, which in turn will lead to lots of stoppages.
Having said all that, I'm sure VAR will come and it will be interesting to see how it is operated.

Kent for me. Never gives up and helps others. I just wish more play had gone through him as I felt he was the player that Dundee U did not know how to handle (apart from yanking him back).

Bassey, Jack, Kent, Morelos. Take your pick. My vote goes to Kent for his harrying, defending when needed and most of all his skill in the lead up to the third goal.

I wish we could find away to stick them in either West Enclosure or Club Deck.
Those of us in the Club Deck would not welcome this😊
In European nights a sizable group of away supporters ( I guess those closely connected with the club as there's no chanting or whatever) sit a few rows behind me. I don't fancy a pyrotechnic lobbed my direction.

This looks like a bit of fun, shame it's so far into the season. I'll need to keep this in mind for the start of the new campaign.
Join in and get some game time so you're match fit for next season😊

No Morelos for Colombia tonight (starting XI or bench). What a farce!
It can't do his confidence much good not even getting on the bench. I suppose for him getting called up means something, at least he is on their radar, but it must be a downer. I hope it doesn't affect him too much.

There are some who are saying that as Soutar will be coming in the summer, there is no need to pay anything to get him now. Bearing in mind we rate him enough to sign him, I'm sure we'd take him now if the price is right.
On the other side, Hearts are making all the noise now and talking up the price for him to go now. This is standard fare in this type of situation. As the deadline nears, common sense usually takes over and he goes for a reasonable sum. As the Hearts fans have taken against Soutar, this will only get worse if he stays and Hearts will end up not playing him. From Hearts point of view it makes no sense to keep him.
It would not surprise me if he comes to Rangers. Hearts will claim they have secured a large fee, thus satisfying their baying fans. Meanwhile Soutar settles in to Ibrox, becomes a favourite of our fans and a hate figure for the Tynecastle morons.
