9.00 am tomorrow, 30/6 they are released. I take it that we will be away in the 1st game, so an undemanding fixture ahead of our Champions League qualifier would be welcomed. On the other hand a tough match and a handsome win will set us up nicely. It would be nice not to get a plastic pitch.

If this story is true, it's a bit strange. From what was said by Beale previously, the ball was in Tillman's court and he would decide where he wanted to be. If we have now offered to buy him, Tillman must have agreed to move. If Bayern are playing hardball, maybe Tillman will down tools until they let him go - as if.

As money is tight, we need to spend it wisely. What we spend it on depends on our priorities. If the priority is to win the league, the money would be spent on those who will score goals. As we regularly have possession in excess of 70%, if we take more of our chances, the defence will help protect any keeper. If Europe is high on our priorities, perhaps a commanding keeper is required. I know we want both but we may need to choose.
