  1. 'Nobody has won until HMRC wins' is what Tomo and his cheerleaders really think and hope for.
  2. Clearly Blue Pitch back in control - doubt they've never really not been. Seem to be plenty people bailing out with the share price dropping like a stone. Those still trying to sell their shares for around 50p won't be happy.
  3. Unfortunately a few people (and it is only a few) are desperate to derail any discussion of the book. Worse, the RM moderating team appears to have disappeared.
  4. You can donate your second copy to your local library!
  5. haha - no! PS: Can you turn of your Tapatalk suffix in the app's settings please?
  6. True but one or the other rather than both is the point I'm making. Doesn't make sense to me...
  7. It certainly worries me that the Easdales felt the bold Chris and BBC Scotland were the best outlet of choice for their PR work recently.
  8. To be fair to Ally we arguably did need another deputy left back as I don't know of any genuine cover there. Foster may have given that so not sure why we opted for him and Smith.
  9. The release of 'Follow We Will: The Fall and Rise of Rangers' has been much anticipated by many Rangers fans and so far demand has outstripped supply with Amazon and Waterstones struggling to fulfil their orders after the first print run sold out on pre-orders alone. Paperback versions of the book are currently like gold dust! The book describes and analyses, from a Rangers perspective, all the relevant issues and events from an unprecedented period in the history of Scottish football. This is the story of how the world’s most successful football club found itself in the Third Division and the loyalty that started to propel it back to the top. With contributions from several recognised bloggers and journalists, an interview with Lee Wallace and forewords written by the Rangers chairman Walter Smith and Professor Graham Walker, you can be sure of an interesting publication that is written by Rangers fans, for Rangers fans. To win a copy of the book, simply tell us who is the current Rangers manager: A) Walter Smith B) Ally McCoist C) Lee McCulloch Please email us at info@gersnet.co.uk with your answer. Entries close at midnight on Friday 19th July where we will select a winner at random. Please supply us with your full name and postal address so we can dispatch your prize without delay. Good luck! Follow We Will: The Fall and Rise of Rangers can be ordered from Amazon and Waterstones and is also available as an e-book in various formats including Kindle. More information can be found on the website of Luath Press where you can also order the book.
  10. I quite liked Argyriou for some reason and it's a shame he never really got a good run of games to show his worth. However, usually that's not because a manager doesn't like a player or whatever, just that he's not good enough. I don't think Foster is much better and I guess the only thing he brings is versatility for either side of the park. I'm still surprised at his and Smith's signings. One or the other but not both.
  11. Miller has never hid that he'd like to come back but I'd be surprised and disappointed if we wasted a wage on him. Just like we don't need another goalkeeper, we don't need another striker.
  12. Good news... Green was daft to leave himself open to such accusations but Whyte was always a necessary hurdle to any prospective buyer. Now the club and SFA have ruled the same we now need to move on.
  13. Yeah, Amazon are saying the end of this week. Not sure what has happened with their (and Waterstones') distribution process but we do apologise for any inconvenience. I think some suppliers have simply been caught short with demand. We really are delighted with the response.
  14. As an aside, we'd just like to apologise to anyone who is still waiting on Amazon delivering or has tried to buy it in Waterstones yesterday or today. The publishers have told us that both companies are in receipt of the books and that the delays are at their end and therefore out of our hands. The good news is that another very large print run has already been sorted so over the next couple of weeks there should be no issue with stock in either shops or online. I'm also waiting to hear when the Rangers shops will have their stock from Sports Direct. Hope it will be by early next week at latest. Sorry once again but hopefully worth the wait.
  15. Not yet mate but the official launch isn't until the 29th July so any reviews are embargoed until then IIRC.
  16. Was really bizarre giving the lad a new contract when we must have known we wouldn't be keeping him. Lots of strange contract decisions which may be compounded when we try to get rid of guys like Cribari, Argyriou and others over the next month or so.
  17. I think there will be at least a few more as well - perhaps not immediately but certainly by the end of August. Unfortunately, I can see pay-offs coming for most of them rather than any sort of fee.
  18. #FollowWeWill is now Amazon's current best-selling football book on Kindle. And the paperback is currently #3... http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/bestsellers/books/279396/ref=pd_zg_hrsr_b_1_3_last
  19. Good luck with it - always a worthwhile event!
  20. A good article on this from @ArnoldBlack1 on TRS today... http://www.therangersstandard.co.uk/index.php/articles/current-affairs/273-long-term-planning-or-short-term-gain
  21. 'Follow We Will' is released today and delighted to see so many people have already received their Kindle versions overnight. I'd like to thank everyone again for their support through this challenging process and hope everyone enjoys the book. I'm certainly looking forward to reading all the reviews and feedback. With the first print run selling out on pre-orders alone, it may be a few days before you receive your paperback copy. Thanks for your patience and hopefully you'll get it asap as Luath did quickly organise another print run. Finally, the Rangers shops will also be stocking the book but again it may not be for another day or two due to Sports Direct being a bit later with their ordering process than Amazon and Waterstones.
