  1. Well done to Walter and Davie! Well deserved! :robbo:
  2. Like the designs Craig!
  3. Hahahahaha - didn't expect it to climb so high so quickly!
  4. Doubt we'd get anywhere near 100,000 but with 20,000+ facebook members and people buying multiple downloads (that has to be done from multiple) sites, you never know.
  5. I'm going home in a wee bit so I'll let you add the links please S_A... No idea of sales targets but I doubt No1 is a realistic target if I'm being honest. However, top 40 is and achieving that would be considered a success IMO. Chart updated here: http://musicstore.djcodeblue.com/uk-official-top-100-music-chart/
  6. I'm following a site that updates the chart hourly and yes, there is still a top 40 on various radio station...
  7. I remember at 1-0, a couple of times he did stay up the park when it would have been more prudent to get back and concentrate on his defensive duties. No issues with him wanting to take penalties though - as long as guys like Miller and Novo give him short thrift.
  8. Now currently #44 in the charts.... 3.25pm 19/04
  9. With Rangers only needing two points from their last four games to retain the SPL title, the banter has already started in earnest with one of the main bits of fun being an attempt to hijack the UK Top 40 music chart with the mass downloading of '(Simply) The Best' by Tina Turner. If you'd like to take part - costs less than £1 - then you can use the following links to improve the song's chart position: - Gersnet Forums - Find out all the latest info on the download attempt! - Facebook - Join over 20,000 other bears in this quest! - iTunes - Download the song here! - Amazon - Another secure site for downloading the song! - HMV - Download via online version of the popular high-street store! Why not visit the facebook page now and take part in this fun idea?! The song is currently at No 68 in the chart so anything is possible! :robbo:
  10. Rangers now only need two more point from four games to secure the SPL title after routine victory over Hearts. http://www.gersnetonline.co.uk/2010/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=259:rangers-2-0-hearts-player-ratings-and-mom-poll&catid=35:analysis&Itemid=67 :mb: for me. Such an exciting player to watch as he almost becomes an auxiliary winger at times. But he's also very good defensively and his strength in the tackle is superb. Thought Davie Weir was also magnificent - his timing, positioning and reading of the game is second to none.
  11. He's had a good season and is invaluable to the team but I feel Davie Weir has been better so far this season...
  12. The only way the Rangers fans will own the club is via a Bunnet-type scenario - be it with Ellis or other money man prepared to underwrite the initial purchase while making money from the period between buying from MIH and selling to the fans. I'd be surprised if any prospective owner wasn't interested in raising capital from the support in exchange for shares. The only aspect that may change is the scale to which they want us involved. For their part, while any buyer may come to us, the fans need to find someone to maximise subscription to any scheme. Smith would be just one figure who'd manage that.
  13. Now sold out - thanks to all who bought tickets!
  14. The article has been extended... http://www.heraldscotland.com/business/analysis/rangers-face-football-s-new-reality-1.1020983
  15. Any attempt for a fan group to obtain a shareholding - partially or otherwise - needs a credible figurehead IMO. Not necessarily as a prospective chairman (non-executive or not) but simply as a key figure to rally the supporters and attract participation from as wide a range of people as possible. Similarly, credible, experienced business people would do the same for their peers as well as people from other areas of expertise where possible. Do that and people will listen to what you have to say and buy into your ethos. Rely on good-intentioned but ultimately inexperienced and unpopular fan reps then success is less likely no matter how good the proposal. Smith has suggested such a model is possible so I'm sure those interested in achieving fan ownership will be eager to talk further with him. Fan ownership needs a catalyst and a club legend would be ideal.
  16. Or we could see Broadfoot at right back and Whittaker on the left...
  17. His value is around £5million+ so we can safely say he's out of our reach. I don't think he's anything special actually.
  18. Just posted that on the main forum for everyone to see... Hilarious stuff!
  19. Any creative player certainly won't be cheap... Can't think of many we can afford to sign anyway. The Dorman's and Goodwillie's of this world are probably on our menu for next season.
  20. Special guest Celtic Youtube video in Rangers Chat... [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n6da01GDvHE]YouTube- celtic after ross game celtic park[/ame] :D
  21. Illogical Mr Spock...
  22. Yip, it is disgraceful 26th... I will call him later and demand he returns - volcanic ash laden skies or not!
  23. Yeah, he certainly wasn't great but I thought he was tidy enough, did well in the tackle and tried to get forward as often as he could. Only let down was his shooting which he twice made a mess of in the second half. Hardly spectacular but one of the few players to look genuinely interested and work hard to get into the game.
  24. I thought we played OK last night - second half anyway - but we simply lack the creative quality to break down teams when Davis (and Naismith) are not playing well. Was disappointed Beasley wasn't brought on in that sense. We really need a new winger for next season - preferably right-sided.
  25. I think Bluedell is on holiday but hopefully Craig can enlighten us as to the relevance...
