Seems there a few improvements but mainly aesthetic ones at the moment. Youth section is definitely a bit better.

http://www.lequipe.fr/Football/breves2009/20090714_101429_bordeaux-vise-bougherra.html French newspaper suggests clubs are discussing transfer for defender. Rough translation: Bordeaux go for Bougherra - Rought Translation Madjid Bougherra is a priority for Laurent Blanc to replace Souleymane Diawara. Girondins are discussing with Rangers a transfer of the Algerian central defender, according to information acquired by L'Equipe. Bougherra, 26, is wanted on a four-year contract. On Monday, the two clubs were still discussing the terms of a transfer, the amount of which could rise to 6 million Euros. If the two clubs cannot do a deal, Girondins will look at Marko Basa (Lokomotiv Moscow) Michael Ciani (Lorient) and Kader Mangane (Rennes), but not Lillois Adil Rami (who is going to Marseille) or Mika«l Silvestre (who wants to stay with Arsenal). Not too enthused over McCarthur. He looks half-decent but I'd prefer Adam over him I'd say.

Informative introduction to the 'Gallant Pioneers' book by Gary Ralston here: http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/editors-choice/2009/07/14/revealed-the-curse-of-the-rangers-pioneers-86908-21518811/ Some tragic stories affected the life and times of our founding fathers. You can buy the book here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Rangers-1872-Pioneers-Gary-Ralston/dp/1859837476/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1247563364&sr=8-1

You can buy them now....

You should get a ticket no problem mate... Friendlies don't usually sell out but with only one at Ibrox this summer and City buying up some fine players, this one may well do I guess. Good luck!

I don't know why but I think Webster could still have a decent career so a loan move with first team football may benefit us in the long run.

This is all quite interesting really. I guess it would require a lot of initial investment but perhaps existing resources could be bought/leased on the cheap. My guess is that the non-OF teams would rather cut off their nose to spite their face though.

It is open today mate... http://www.rangers.talent-sport.co.uk/PagesPublic/ProductBrowse/productHome.aspx? PS: Main official site is being changed today so that may delay this slightly.

Should be interesting...

Yeah, too many people are getting overly worried about a lack of news. Holidays and an extended break this summer means we do have the luxury of an extra couple of weeks to plan ahead. In saying that, I'm still a bit worried that we appear unable to move on the dead wood which leaves us prone to late bids on the cheap as well as a lack of time to bring in any new players.

I think he's proven he's a very useful player but we need more than a few months here and there. We need full seasons and then he can call himself a key player. There is no doubting the lad's talent or the effect he could have on the team but there is doubting his fitness.
-
Yep, good stuff. If he can get fit (and importantly stay fit) then he could become an integral part of the team.
-
Yep, dreadful news.... Hopefully he can battle through it...

Yep, the only thing that was missing from the display was a dead goat...

Funnily enough we're using new security software at work and that causes my tabs to freeze on occasion as well. If I have a long post that I want to make, I usually copy it first (or write it in Word) in case of problems.

I think one of our own Gersnet members were involved in this! Superb stuff!

No fee. apparently

Goalkeeper Graeme Smith has left to join St Johnstone.
