  1. SPL and GIRUY smilies added....
  2. We're also looking likely to be in the 2nd pot in the group stage draw - currently we're top of the 3rd pot...
  3. I'm delighted with winning the title but the European money was utterly essential for next season.
  4. Yip, excellent post... We can only hope the team take confidence from this title win so we stop dropping points in games we know we can win.
  5. Yep, I'd imagine around 10-12 players will move on in the summer and that we'll bring in maybe 2 or 3. I'm actually surprised Walter will stay on but perhaps McCoist will have even more of a say in the team/tactics etc.
  6. Yeah, a few rumours floating around about this guy. Can't say I know anything about him.
  7. Haha - superb stuff!
  8. I'll sort them out tomorrow...

Yep, that's the worst thing about tomorrow. We are favourites (or should be) so if we don't win the title, it will probably be my hardest moment as a bear...
  10. They did well against us in the Cup and seem to be playing decent football under Derek McInnes. Would have preferred Killie to go down out of all the teams. They contribute nothing to the league and hardly ever takes points off the Old Firm nowadays (touch wood)...
  11. Only worry I have is defensive set-pieces. Weir and Bougherra are not bad in the air but Utd have several aerially good players who can cause us problems if we don't match them physically... Bougherra has struggled up against Sandaza in the past as well so hopefully he'll have his done his homework in between press calls...
  12. Unfortunately our own recent record at Tannadice is just as bad so it really could go any way tomorrow. We can only hope the players are up for it and give us their best 90mins of the season. If we do that, we'll win. Anything less and we'll struggle. FWIW, I don't Utd will play for a point either. They'll go for the win.
  13. I understand why the media want to use such a catchy phrase but even they must realise it only applies to Rangers and any subsequent usage only looks daft. As you say it sounds like some desperate Celtic supporter trying to remove the bad memories by using it for himself. And failing!
  14. Yeah, Caley have taken important points off us in recent reasons. Glad they're going down as it means our Xmas fixtures should be a bit easier travel for the bears. Bets on Aberdeen and Dundee Utd/St Johnstone away for us next season now.

Had a few beers to calm the nerves somewhat.... Just glad the game is an early kick off as means I can get on the drink again early doors tomorrow!
  16. I'm extremely annoyed at the dilution of this phrase by the media. As Andy says, there will only ever be one Helicopter Sunday! And it was one of the best days as a bear. I know Celtic fans like stealing stuff and being second best but even they surely wouldn't want to use such a phrase?
  17. Celtic will win tomorrow so we need to do the same...
  18. Great news that Bill is doing so well... Always enjoy reading Winters' comments as well!
  19. I bloody hope our fans get the chance to do so mate! Thanks for the info!

Certainly seems like it mate. I'm away to my kip so hopefully it won't keep me from my beauty sleep!
  21. Funnily enough we were just talking about porridge drawers in the staff room at work today. Don't ask...
  22. Amazed they can type such tripe with a straight face... (not including their slack jaw obviously)... :D
  23. Why do I have a picture of Maw Broon in my head...!? Maybe we could have the party at the But'n'Ben instead...?
  24. And plenty devil dugs whenever I've been there... Usually wearing shell-suits and sovvie rings! Still a class above my sleepy hamlet in leafy East Lothian.
