McCurry made a rod for his own back with the interview Spiers mentions... He was always going to be binned after that. Mistakes or not last season, I'm astonished the SFA can afford to lose one of our better referees. The club manager has stated publicly that the decision was 'incredible'. As such, if Bougherra is not free to play this Sunday, I'd expect Smith's reaction (and his peers at the club) to reflect their disbelief. I would want my club to pull out of the Scottish Cup final in protest. -
Dougal is a coward. Both he and the linesman should admit they made a mistake with both incidents. Anything less than a rescinding of the Bougherra red card should be challenged by Rangers as strongly as possible.

I don't think they did do it to even it up. I just think the linesman cheated and would have done so 11v11 or 11v10.

Dougal not to blame. He only made his decision after consultation with the linesman. That is exactly why we will have right of appeal. Dougal will change his mind I'm sure.

They sure do... I believe the RU are having some sort of display tomorrow as well. The content will be interesting on the back of the club allowing the Celtic display last weekend. -

Seeing as it's our last home game of the season and also to purge the stand after the demon of Timmy presence in the Broomloan last week The Blue Order will have a display in the Broomloan stand. The display covers the whole stand, upper and lower. Please be sure to be in early and play your part when the teams take to the field. Spread the word to other Broomloan Bears please. -
I had lunch with Bill McMurdo when he used to be McCarthy agent when Liverpool wanted to buy him a couple of years back for around �£1million. McCarthy said he wasn't interested in a move down south as he didn't want to leave his Mum. Said the only team he'd sign for would be Celtic. They've tried to sign him before but have had laughable bids rejected apparently.

Ewan: Agree with much of that and, for what its worth, I think Smith will move 'upstairs' in the summer (win or lose) and I genuinely hope he leaves a sweet taste in the mouth with an attacking team tomorrow and next Sunday. We need goals and I'd rather win 5-4 than 1-0 tomorrow so we can at least say we gave it our best shot. -
Exactly Ian... While refereeing decisions always have their part to play (and the number we get against us rather dubious); they don't account for the number of unacceptable performances from our team.

I think we'll win 5-1... I also predict we'll get a penalty and Aberdeen will have a man sent off.
