http://www.rangerssupporterstrust.co.uk/rstsite/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=187&Itemid=1 This coming Saturday sees the Trust's Annual Dinner to celebrate 5 great years of the RST. Almost all tickets are sold for the event but there are a few more remaining so the following news may help you decide on whether to come long. Top UK Comedians Geoff Boyz and Rod Woodward will be our main speakers along with the hilarious Bill Copland who shall be our MC for the evening. As usual with a Trust Dinner a host of ex-Rangers players are hoping to attend and we will be having a Q&A session with many of them. We're informed you yesterday that Johnny Hubbard, Billy Simpson, John MacDonald, Tam Forsyth and, 'the Goalie' himself, Andy Goram will be attending. Another special guest on the evening will be the inspirational John Smeaton who we're sure will need no introduction! We are now also delighted to confirm that Artur Numan will be attending with under 19 players Steven Kinniburgh and Ross Harvey who will be bringing along the trophies that the young lads won last season. These lads represent the exciting future ahead of the club and the Trust who are working very closely with Rangers Youth. Finally, the last (but not least) special guest will be Broxi-Bear who will be in charge of the recently won League Cup trophy which is hopefully the first of four trophies this season! An ideal photo opportunity! For more information regarding the event and how members can buy tickets please click here. Be sure to purchase your tickets quickly as late demand is sure to be very high. The Trust are also delighted to announce that we have negotiated a discounted room rate with the Crowne Plaza Hotel. For only £89 one can book a twin/double room with B&B included for two adults. Simply quote the RST when booking! Many thanks for your continued support.

Rangers are to offer a trial to the younger Brother of Italian superstar, Andreas Pirlo. Olaf Pirlo, currently on AC Milan's books as a youth player, has been invited to attend Murray Park for a week, and early indications are that he has been seduced by Rangers' attempts to lure him away from the Italian giants by sending Chairman David Murray's private jet to transport him to Glasgow, with current 007 star Daniel Craig as pilot. The deal is thought to be similar to that which took ex-Gers star Rino Gattuso to Glasgow in 1996, and Pirlo revealed Gattuso's part in the move. "Gennaro has told me great things about Rangers and Glasgow, including the culinary aspects regarding my favourite dish, pizza.

Looking at the Brown penalty claim again, I think it's pretty clear from the following clip (1min 28secs in) that his right leg stuck in the turf and caused the stumble... No penalty. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fdvfI3ftjGI
-
I think he made the most of it and was lucky not be sent off.
-
I think it was because FF was playing in the background... Inconclusive but the Celtic fans aren't very happy about it...
-
Said he's not a cheat and didn't dive.
-
Weird. I'll ask around.
-
? I'd be astounded if that were true... You sure about the players involved as I'll ask around.

Now online... http://www.gersnetonline.net/newsite/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=623&Itemid=1

Great read mate... Will get it online tomorrow. Monday is a slow newsday so it should be some good exposure.
-
As was Barry Robson... Usual paranoid nonsense from a bunch of fans who just don't know how to lose gracefully.
-
Any excuse mate... I've not seen it the game on TV yet (other than the goal) but no Celtic player claimed for it so that's good enough for me.

calscot: This was from last year. It's not a recent document so while some issues are still relevant others are not. I'll see about providing more information on it next week.
-
Not of the full plan which was submitted this time last year IIRC... We may consider releasing it at some point but as it stands it contains some information that we'd prefer was kept private for operational reasons.

Guy is a joke...

Plenty examples of this on YouTube from a cursory glance... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CwXETs6Y9w0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j-CwxyZURz0 Get them saved and email to UEFA gents. What's good for the goose, is good for the gander.

Ferguson will remain a mainstay of the team for a while yet. His form, while hardly first class, has still been a fair bit better than any Scottish midfielder this season.
