Oh it wasn't me that wrote it mate although I did write something similar. Spiers is your typical spoilt child. It's his ba' and if anyone disagrees with him he just takes the huff and doesn't reply. He's a liar and a cheat. I'm also reliably informed his job is on a very shoogly peg. Then he can move to his spiritual home at the Celtic View or Radio Clyde...

Even if we only have £5million to spend, that still leaves £4.8m to spend plus any money we bring in from players leaving. Not that I'm fussy about big names anyway. I'd rather see any money spent on guys like Svensson, Clement and Elmander than over-rated, over-priced egomaniacs... That's not to say a big name player wouldn't be welcome depending on who it actually is.

I had some corrospondence with Spiers late last week. He won't respond apart from reiterating that he thinks comparing Rangers fans to Nazi's is acceptable.

IIRC, Dung later retracted his comments by saying Rangers were no longer interested in the 'sensational' name he mentioned. For what it's worth I have heard nothing concrete but the rumours won't go away. Similar situation to the rumours about PLG in fact.

His name isn't Mr Smith put it that way...

Darryl King mentioned it on Snyde apparantly. Also heard stuff from other more reliable sources. But no names unfortunately.

No, Bernard is on a 2 year contract so is still our player until someone takes him or we agree a contract termination.

Tuesday and Wednesday... I think the kids are in tomorrow and the first team on Wednesday. Not 100% on that though.
-
Arrived in Scotland this morning to begin the day to day managerial and coaching side of the club.... Pre-season starts tomorrow for some, Wednesday for others! Bonjeur, Paul!
-
We'll know more after the first 2-4 weeks of pre-season I'd imagine. Let's PLG have a look at the fringe players in differing situations. Also, that allows the main part of the WC to finish which will enable us to make moves for other players.

Just been announced that wee Wullie Johnston has been added to the speaker list as well... I really cannot wait for this evening.
-
Not sure mate. Klos might make a return but I doubt it given his alleged poor attitude etc. Maybe we'll be signing somone else but again, I doubt we can afford to have AN Other, Klos, Letizi/Barthez and McGregor
-
Can't say I want either to be honest...
-
Thanks mate...

Great Job Jon... But you best make a new topic for the actual results...
-
Probably for services to British sport but he does actually do a lot of charity work as well.

I agree but well done nonetheless Fergie...

Post them in here mate. And cheers!

Announcement On Official Site From Murray About Bain...
Frankie replied to Koeman's topic in Rangers Chat
Bain takes a lot of stick (to avoid any mud sticking to his boss) but in the last few years he's made a lot of mistakes while at the same time being able to accept some partial credit for getting the club back on an even financial keel. Anyone who has met the man will know what kind of guy he's like. I wouldn't trust him in the slightest but some of the criticism aimed at him can be well over the top. As I say, I doubt he'll be around much longer anyway in the medium term. -
Announcement On Official Site From Murray About Bain...
Frankie replied to Koeman's topic in Rangers Chat
This is a personal thing and I doubt anything will come of it. Murray is just heading off any damaging media coverage at the pass. Pity he's not so quick to defend the fans and other aspects of the club. As for Bain, his shelf-life is coming to an end anyway. People in these type of jobs never hang around too often. He won't last another year IMO. -
Aye, the venue can hold 1500 people if necessary. But we won't need that many seats. It will be more like 200-300. Just depends on ticket sales, although they have been pretty good so far given it's the close season and appraoching folks holidays.
