I never signed full pro for Utd but was an 'S' Form there for 2 years. Also played for Scotland at under 15/16 level several times.

I knew Dailly when I played at Dundee Utd - he's no Celtic fan (neither was his brother Marcus who I played with) so no idea why he was playing in that game. Probably making up the numbers as he'll be doing here...

Maybe the group should have added Dailly chants to the Miller ones...

I spoke to The_Insider yesterday and unfortunately he's heard nothing more than the names already mentioned. Not sure about Larsen - it's went very quiet there. Schalke did say they wanted to keep him so perhaps our interest cooled after that. He did say that we should be patient though...

Dailly would offer more in central defence than Hemdani.... If we had to move Hemdani back there then that would leave us short in defensive midfield so Dailly would have to play there...

Have you forgotten how ineffective our central defence was with Hemdani there? All teams had to do was play a long ball and they'd create chances and score goals... I'd imagine Dailly would be behind Broadfoot anyway. Like I say, it's most likely he'll never play.

Depends - Cuellar gets injured tomorrow then Weir gets suspended. Sames goes for right back and central midfield where Dailly can also play. I agree it's hardly the most exciting signing in the world but in terms of cheap cover it's not too bad.

He's a cheap, extremely experienced, versatile replacement for Ehiogu... I'd be surprised if he actually plays - if he does actually sign.

Not fuss either way now to be honest... Would like to see a replacement if he does go though.

Some very valid points mate. I'd imagine FIFA may allow the transfer at the very last minute so we have no time to benefit from breaching the rules.

I thought Lowing did very well when he played in the first team. In saying that I think Jordan McMillan may be a better bet in that role.
