  1. Dailly would offer more in central defence than Hemdani.... If we had to move Hemdani back there then that would leave us short in defensive midfield so Dailly would have to play there...
  2. Must admit I'd be horrified if we spent the £3.5million rumoured on Lafferty...
  3. The-Insider told us about Lafferty last week... http://www.gersnetonline.net/newsite/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=582&Itemid=2
  4. Have you forgotten how ineffective our central defence was with Hemdani there? All teams had to do was play a long ball and they'd create chances and score goals... I'd imagine Dailly would be behind Broadfoot anyway. Like I say, it's most likely he'll never play.
  5. Depends - Cuellar gets injured tomorrow then Weir gets suspended. Sames goes for right back and central midfield where Dailly can also play. I agree it's hardly the most exciting signing in the world but in terms of cheap cover it's not too bad.
  6. He's a cheap, extremely experienced, versatile replacement for Ehiogu... I'd be surprised if he actually plays - if he does actually sign.
  7. Not fuss either way now to be honest... Would like to see a replacement if he does go though.
  8. Some very valid points mate. I'd imagine FIFA may allow the transfer at the very last minute so we have no time to benefit from breaching the rules.
  9. In hand mate...
  10. I thought Lowing did very well when he played in the first team. In saying that I think Jordan McMillan may be a better bet in that role.
  11. general updates in this thread please folks... Friday - window closed OUT: Cousin - Transfer back on - FIFA to decide on Monday IN: Steve Davies - loan deal
  12. Exactly. The man knows the backing he has and I'm not sure another year of not winning the league would bother many fans. With this article I'm just hoping that we all get the best out of the deal though - money for the debt and money to improve the team resulting in renewed interest to buy the club.
  13. I don't criticise any fan for not being interested in the 'political' side of the debate. That's their prerogative but I'd just like to think that when people are paying out £400+ every year they'd like to see value for money.
  14. When the club is 4 points clear in the league, most fans would express incredulity at any criticism of the club. Even when we were finishing third in the league many fans would not criticise the chairman. Unfortunately not enough fans care that while progress on the park may be positive, several issues remain off it that are negative and remain unaddressed despite constant neglect.
  15. That's what I tried to do in the article.
  16. Join the RST and maximise independent constructive engagement. Unfortunately as seen with Man Utd, we'll only get large enough numbers when the sh!t really hits the fan. Meanwhile, 4 point gaps and selling players for £9million keeps the punters happy.
  17. To be honest if some fans haven't seen the light regarding how our club has been run before now, I doubt losing another SPL title will help them much... That may sound patronising somewhat but Murray's last 7 years (and specifically the last 3) have had plenty spin but little substance.
  18. That's what our £700K per annum to MediaHouse gets...
  19. Most Rangers fans only look at the SPL table mate. SDM knows that.
  20. This transfer may help in that regard mate. As much as it's disappointing now the results could be ultimately satisfying.
  21. Always more questions than answers about RFC nowadays... Hopefully we'll get a couple answered suitably over the next 48 hours.
  22. Of course it's his problem per se. But we all know it's not as simple as that. And I'm a shareholder so it is my problem as well... Further, I don't buy into the sharing blame issue, so while I may understand the debt responsibility situation, by analysing and criticising I'm pushing the attention back to Murray. Or at least I'm trying to...
  23. Agree with that...
  24. He hasn't ploughed as much into the club as the fans have. As for practically winning 9iar, well I think the managers, players and supporters would all disagree with that - no matter the positive influence SDM did have on the period.
