  1. So, sounds like the problem area for the last 2 years now has multiple options if all reports are to be believed (I did say if)... We'll have Rossiter, Jack and Peña all available for that sitting midfielder role..... If nothing else, at least the problem position has been prioritised
  2. Plus, first goal scorer (If there are any) should be fun to guess with so many new players (Again, if there are any )
  3. Maybe double points for Europe as lets be honest, its an 'unknown quantity' this season
  4. Literal translation from Google is: OFFICIAL: Chivas has sold to 'Gullit' Peña to Rangers Glasgow of Scotland. Carlos Peña arrives at the Football of Europe. Bombazo. Although, I think somebody already got a bit excited with his Wiki page...
  5. I think he's the kind of player who, when he's playing well, you don't really notice him.. if you know what I mean
  6. To be honest, I don't think he will either, he's not at the end of his contract, i'm sure he has about 2 yrs left and I can imagine he would cost a fair bit, a fair bit more than we would be willing to pay...
  7. He's treating the national team like a weekly 5-a-side team, plays when he feels like it...
  8. I didn't go further than wikipedia, its on the wikipedia page, just 2/3 scrolls further than you went... putting words in your mouth.....
  9. I wasn't comparing them in the slightest and such don't think its fair to say i'm ignorant, i was simply pointing out that when using stats, you have to look at the wider picture, for example, Tarpey has scored a lot of goals, but its not at a high level.. Also, not sure I would class 27 games and 2 goals for Macedonia as a fantastic goal scorer...
  10. This guy is playing the Macedonian league...... He had a short spell at Brondby but then decided to return to a Macedonian team, doesn't show much ambition to me...... Also, stats should only be considered if looking at the wider picture, for example, there is a guy who plays for Maidenhead United(Dave Tarpey), a 6th tier team in England who scored 45 goals this season, however, I have seen him play and I wouldn't want him in a Rangers shirt
  11. I think this is where he reminds me of Alan Shearer, very highly rated in England, but never really going to be rated that highly on the continent or anywhere else outwith the UK
  12. Shock, 2 ex Celtic 'pundits' back the non-Rangers manager over the Rangers manager...
  13. I'm probably in the minority, but I think with Champions League football and temporarily moving to Wembley Stadium, Tottenham will struggle to break into the top 4 next season....
  14. Agreed, to me it shows professionalism and seems he is a very personable man who wants everything done outside the media. Also, he has the balls to tell somebody to their face that they're not good enough and they need to move on which is surprisingly lacking in today's managers.
  15. Don't forget Cazorla, Navas and Ibrahimovic
  16. Agreed, not sure he would risk causing problems in his national squad by saying "Na, I don't want Lafferty here, he's a f*nny"
  17. I think if PC wants to play to Garner's strengths we will see wingers being signed as I don't think we have any out and out wingers who could put a ball into the box, maybe with the exception of Tavernier, but, he's not (officially) a winger and is his crossing blows hot and cold... I haven't yet seen any wingers being rumoured but I do believe that the vast majority of players linked by the media are made up because PC is doing well at playing cards close to his chest
  18. If the news about Jack is true, there is no way it would be announced 'officially' before the end of the season.. Think of the reaction of the Aberdeen fans towards Mr. Jack and the club if their captain and one of their best players had agreed a move, for free, to their favourite team to hate... In my oppinion, If the signing has been made, it won't be announced until after the cup final
