I have a niggling worry in the back of my mind that this world cup break, while perfect time for a new manager to come in and get a 'mini' pre-season is also potentially a good time for the board/Wilson to think that theres no Rangers football for over a month, they can sit it out(hide), give GvB a bit of time on the training field and revisit without the worry of constant pelters after games... Hopefully at 12 today we have a statement..... I won't hold my breath though

I agree 100% as somebody who has also hired many a person, you can quite quickly work out the difference between people who are not good, and those who are not good, but can be improved. We need to somehow miraculously find that person who IS good but can also improve with us...

With the number of players in our squad that will actually be going to the WC, its an ideal time to get somebody in and get them almost a mini preseason and an opportunity to look at the squad with a view to some 'surgery' in January.. With that in mind, I see us waiting til halfway through January before doing anything about the manager situation

yup, the stance has been made very clear from all angles within and outside the club across the city

I think this is another player similar to Sakala in that his strongest qualities aren't best used against low block sides, but when there is space in behind, or when he can run at people without being doubled up on... I still think he can come good, just has to be used the right way to maximise his skills, happy to give him time, still only 22 years old so plenty of time to improve against domestic style teams.
