No, I agree with the time that the board sacked him.

I didn’t think it was right to sack someone 4 games into the season, I don’t think it’s a good reflection of our club either.

I voted Clement but I might as well have voted for Patrick Swayze for the amount I really know about them. I just can't quite get past that very poor period Muscat had in Belgium.

A lot of noise about it being Clement but I’ve just seen he wears trainers with his suit and that is not on. I sincerely hope someone hands him some brown brogues before he is offered the job. We need to get the right fit for our football club.

Not convinced this is an appropriate time to throw in Lovelace, particularly when we may have a new manger round the corner. But with that said, I hope he does well and gives the new manager something to consider.

Someone on the Heart and Hand podcast made a very good point about hiring Muscat, a lot of the Japanese players contracts are up in December and Muscat would potentially have great knowledge and pull for the players that would be worth signing on a free. It's possible that it could swing the appointment in his direction as it's clear we badly need to fresh players even after the summer investment.

I think Glasner may have a better CV if he is an option. He looks like he’s had a relatively more restricted budget in better leagues and achieved success, albeit without winning a league.

Find an experienced manager who is a proven winner and that can work with a limited budget. I don’t envy the board’s job, but essentially that is what we require to get out of this mess. Either that or we need to get lucky again like we did with Gerrard.

Ah well now, if we are getting this pedantic, I never said that Davis was going to be permanent manager. However, do I think if everything went swimmingly for Davis in the two games before the break the board might be swayed to keep him on longer to see how he does? Yeah, I do think that was a distinct possibility. Now we know that won’t happen though after last night.

I just saw a video of Clement talking. He sounds like he’s got a blender stuck in his throat, so it’s a no from me.

Yes, generally we all try to imagine what is required.

Also, whatever Davis has done for us in the past, he wasn't the right man to bring in even temporarily. The blame lies squarely on the board for doing this, but you can't expect someone who has been friends with these players and played through similar periods with them to be able to give the harsh words that are required.

We beat Real Betis. I think we can get through this group with the right manager. But I agree that it has to be a very good manager. No project will get us through this.

I know people will hate me for saying this, but Beale shouldn't have been sacked before a European game. He should of course have been sacked, but there was a period in the break to do it.

I hear you, but I massively disagree. Put better players on the pitch and there is a far higher chance we would succeed. A major part of the problem is that Beale has replaced players with poorer ones.

Crazy to think Rangers wouldn't ever be able to meet their financial obligations.

After that display I think the only option the board has is to bring in a top manager. Someone the fans can really back and get behind. I don't think any manager with a slim track record will be afforded the time to turn this around. This is not a time for risks, this is a time for the board to pull something spectacular out the hat and prove they can move us forward.
