If it’s Beale then so be it. There are absolutely no guarantees no matter who they appoint. I’m happy to support the board’s choice until there’s good reason not to.

Dave King to vote against the re-election of Douglas Park
Bill replied to BEARGER's topic in Rangers Chat
I think that’s a bit harsh. I’m more interested in what he does to lead us out of this difficult period but the important thing to remember is Park is Chairman, not dictator. The Chairman’s job is to ensure the board conducts its business properly, not to tell them what to do. The days of chairman rulers like SDM are long gone. -

Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Morocco and now Japan. They don’t seem to understand their role in all this. -

Not any more but given what he's achieved so far he would have been a far better choice than GvB.

Wonderful project that needs to be supported. Donation made.

Football lives in the Dark Ages, where the incompetents can hide and prosper.
-
Yes you will. You just wont admit it.
-
Why don't they follow Rugby and control in-play time properly by stopping the clock when necessary. That way everyone knows how much time is remaining. Playing time should never be unknown and at the ref's discretion.
-
If it's Beale you'll back him 100% until given reason not to.
-
From the little I've seen, what Beale has going for him is that he really wants the job. That's always a great place to start.
-
Strangely, the phone hasn't rung today. Apparently no one at Rangers is interested in my opinions about the choice of our next manager. So be it. In the meantime, I should probably avoid criticising any of the candidates because whoever gets the job is going to need the fans on his side.
-
The simple truth is managers can only ever really be judged after they leave. Until that time, everything is uncertain. Before they arrive it's all a complete gamble.
-
So much talk about "style of play". It's like choosing between a Ferrari or a Lambo when you can't afford to buy bread.

Do we need the Getsnet version of VAR to keep thing (ahem) correct? 😏 -
Beale isn’t my first choice but it’s pathetic the way some fans are already crucifying him out of hand. What the hell is wrong with us, can’t we just show the guy some respect and act like adults?
-
You don’t have to be a super-coach to manage Rangers but you do have to know how to be the boss. Jock Wallace had it, so did Walter Smith, Graeme Souness and Dick Advocaat.
-
Mick Beale might well be the man for Rangers but let no one say it wouldn't be a huge gamble. He has managed QPR for ten minutes, which is scant preparation for the Rangers job. I don't doubt his coaching skills but I wonder if he has the strength of character to hold the attention of a Rangers dressing room. That said, you'd have to be very naive to think he rolled up at Ibrox the other week out of pure coincidence.
-
You’re right
-
I expect a new Rangers manager by Wednesday night. on the other hand it’s always possible Gio has walked and the board has been left high and dry.
-
I’d like the manager who wins everything in sight year after year forever. I just don’t know how you tell which one it is. Failing that I’d go for a one-eyed black trans psychopath for entertainment value.
