https://www.msn.com/en-gb/sport/football/rangers-set-to-agree-fourth-partnership-as-bosnian-side-zeljeznicar-tease-deal/ar-BB1fnWt5 This club have quite an interesting history and there's a few good players have come from Bosnia and Herzegovina, so it might pay off.

Racist Encounters in Scottish Football(Part 1).
Gonzo79 replied to 26th of foot's topic in Rangers Chat
Sanjeev Kohli lied about something, despite everyone in Scottish football knowing he was lying and despite media coverage confirming he was pointing the finger at the wrong set of fans. I think term 'useful idiot' is far too kind. -
What is it that Anwar wants? It's a provisional one-match ban pending a full investigation.
-
Aye, for less than 1% of the population (the estimated death rate is between 0.5 and 1%).

I've been asking that question for the last twelve months.

Quick online search: "Can I still spread the coronavirus after I'm vaccinated? It's possible. Experts say the risk is low, but are still studying how well the shots blunt the spread of the virus. The current vaccines are highly effective at preventing people from getting seriously sick with COVID-19."
-
I'm presuming vaccinated people would leave the game and then go back to interact with others (work/family/friends), some of whom won't have been vaccinated. The funny thing is, a high percentage of football supporters will be the last to receive the jab, as they're healthy and in early-middle age. Can a vaccinated person still carry and transmit Covid?
-
If the vaccinated can still carry Covid (I honestly don't know) then mass gatherings will result in non-vaccinated people getting it later. It's all very scary. Stay safe guys.

I'm sure I read there would be some modifications to Bar72.
-
Looks good but the price hike is something else. Just double checked and this is a bar in Uddingston, not the updated Bar72. Or am I mistaken?

I went for Defoe because the first goal was an absolute peach. Patterson's goal was also really well taken.

I doubt fans will be back at Ibrox this season. I suspect there may even be a phased approach at the start of 2021/22.

I'm sensing some toxic masculinity in this thread, which is typical of the Patriarchy. Come on guys, it's 2021.

Rangers appeal Patterson, Bassey, Zungu et al bans

There are no ramifications for the scum players - that was dropped months ago. It'll be interesting to see how this turns out. Our players will probably have the full 6 match bans implemented as a result. Personally, I'm delighted that Shane Duffy was not banned. Well done the beaks. ? -

He has been an integral part of our success this season. -

Reminds me of kids getting in trouble at school. "But sir, Kevin did it first!". -
I think Doncaster and Lawwell's idea of what constitutes sectarianism may differ from some of ours and they have influence in the corridors of football power. Then you get racist microagressions and unconscious bias. The issue is more nuanced that just what is and what isn't. "Let he who is without sin..."

Thank goodness that's over until the Summer and we can get back to proper football at the weekend.

The yahoos and their political bedfellows will be watching Rangers supporters lashing out with accusations about nasty words and will be rubbing their hands in anticipation of revenge...mark my words. I believe Glen Kamara. I hope the Czech lad is found out and punished and his club get pulled up for some of their silly statements but I do wonder about the eagerness of Bears to go OTT when we are often the first to be accused of behaving disreputably. Sectarianism and racism are the same thing in UEFA's eyes.
-
The racism mainly seems to be occurring on social media, which isn't the SFA or UEFA's responsibility. Direct messages from people not on a famous person's list of contacts are already being restricted. As for the Slavia Prague situation, UEFA will conduct an investigation into what was said and what went on but I wouldn't hold out much hope of any significant ramifications for the player or the club. Football isn't the place to learn about ethics and morals, as FIFA, UEFA et al demonstrate time and time again.

Each situation is different. The Dubai trip seems more like the club was at fault than the players. They were given permission to go and the lockdown rules were different at the time. I'm not sure what all the fuss is about. Everyone knew there'd be repurcussions for misdemeanous. -
Love the wee guy. Despite all the crap he has to take from opposition players, fans, the press and officials, he keeps coming back for more, works as hard as anyone and really has been a standout player since he arrived.
