I used to really like Man City and went down to see them a few times. Cracking club and fans but the whole thing has been diluted considerably since the UAE takeover and I've gradually lost interest. I don't see much difference between what's gone on at City and clubs like Man Utd and Chelsea though - just foreign playthings/vanity projects. Pep Guardiola is a good manager but an annoying twat. I hope they beat Chelsea in the CL final - mainly because I've never liked the London clubs and it'll annoy Man Utd fans.

We will have to sell one or two of our better players - that's just the way it is. Players will go where they're offered the best money and where they play regularly in big matches, so we can't compete with most EPL clubs. We've improved every season he has been here and achieved what was required (the title within three years), as well as over-achieving in Europe each year. I'll be honest, I wouldn't have been too bothered if he had parted ways with the club after that second successive defeat at Tynecastle just over a year ago but I'm absolutely delighted how he has turned things around. Next season is all about CL qualification and retaining the title, as well as winning a domestic cup competition.
