That's half the problem right there - this attitude is aligned with masculinity. It's old fashioned, it's British stiff upper lip and is viewed as problematic. Victimhood is promoted and celebrated nowadays and social media, the press, advertisers and governments all go along with it. Baffling.

There are benefits and drawbacks to nearly every way a football club is run. I wouldn't dismiss any and think some can work well together.

If Club1872 is a choice between a board with no accountability or transparency and the Louden set, I think it's safe to say it's a dead duck. I understand people who want supporters to have a collective stake/say in the club, particularly after what we've been through and fail to see the point in making condescending posts about efforts to make this happen.

We all did that in 2012, hence the desire for more fan representation at the club.

Supporting a football club and all that involves requires a bit of blind faith/hope.

Just watched this lad in the Euro U21 final. Wasn't outstanding but some good positioning and definitely potential. I'd imagine playing in that sort of match would bump his price up. As an aside, does anyone know why the players had t-shirts with 'Thank You' in German, Serb-Croat and Turkish?

A wee bit of transfer gossip passes the time. When it comes from credible sources it can be quite intriguing. Thankfully, the Scottish press don't seem to get much inside info from Ibrox (what's Kenny Miller up to these days?), so we can dismiss most of what is printed as made up garbage.

Do players ever sign the first offer? Additionally, two sets of people I wouldn't trust are football agents and tabloid journalists. Ignore the noise...

I remember going to see Rangers at Goodison in the late 90s and it's the most bother I've ever seen outside a ground.

I used to think of Manchester City as my English/second side. My dad took me to see Carlisle Utd vs City in the early 80s and their red and black away strip reminded me of Rodger the Dodger (Beano). I've went off them in the past decade though and couldn't care less how they get on currently. There are a few teams around Europe I have soft spots for: Inter Milan - Football Italia and Jürgen Klinsmann, HSV - Jorg Albertz, Espanyol - they share a city with horrible separatists and Partizan Belgrade due to my interest in the Balkans (read up on the history of some of the bigger Yugoslav clubs and they stood out). I've been to see HSV and Partizan (and City a few times) - hoping to get to other matches around the continent in the next few years.

I hope any Rangers players give a good account of themselves and stay fit. Some decent football is always nice to watch. Other than that, I couldn't care less.
