Croatians and Yahoos are not strange bedfellows. Police Scotland claimed they had "no intelligence". I think that sums up their efforts quite well. Tims are known to go well out of their way to cause bother with Bears (I know this more than most). They really are a cringe-inducing blight on Scottish society. Косово је Србија.

I had limited confidence before we played Shkupi. I'd have been glad to get this far. We can improve and every victory brings added confidence (strangely, I think the only game we didn't win was our best performance). Tomorrow will tell us a fair bit about where we are. I know people think we should beat Aberdeen and we should but even great Rangers sides have struggled up there. Looks like Maribor will be our last trip to the former Yugoslavia (in the qualifiers anyway).

If we can beat Maribor and avoid Atalanta, I think we can make it. A lot of ifs and buts but why not!?

Aberdeen are a decent side and McInnes is a decent manager at that level. Let's not kid ourselves, we have finished below them the last two seasons.

I did laugh last night when a 5ft Policewoman went over to the Croat fans in the ground...they didn't seem too concerned about her presence.

Some tweets from yahoos yesterday pretty much confirm that is the case. I walked past the Croats when the Police had them hemmed in and sat in GF1, right next to them. They didn't look like they were planning a nice, civilised picnic. Tossers got what they deserved by the sounds of it.

I wouldn't be expecting many crushing wins this season. Especially against a side that a top 8 EPL side couldn't beat over 90 mins.

I thought we played well tonight. Maybe our best performance under Gerrard. We definitely need our midfielders to pass quicker though. The amount of times a great pass was 'on' and they held onto the ball too long...frustrating. but the signs are good.
