  1. I see what you mean. Hitler would've been more successful if he'd used an image of McGinn at Hibs.
  2. I'd stick Dorrans, McCrorie and Goss in a midfield three. McCrorie always in front of the defence, Goss and Dorrans ahead of him.
  3. Cummings comes on.
  4. John Greig testimonial - Rangers v Scotland. Scott Brown testimonial - Celtc v Rep of Ireland. I think that tells us all we need to know.
  5. Saw this on the bbc page, "Here is the actual 11 who will be representing the Tartan Army tonight". i was under the impression the players represented Scotland, not the TA? If they are representing the TA, then I hope Hungary cuff them.
  6. Or Hibs.
  7. I hope Cosgrove enjoyed a certain statue when in Hull.
  8. If McLeish is going for a more experienced line up, I doubt Murphy or Cummings will play, which suits me.
  9. Cosgrove is an odious, fat twat.
  10. It'll be great to get McCrorie and Dorrans back in the squad.
  11. A football club is not the same as a retail company. Obviously, from a business point of view, there have to be similar traits but the comparison isn't very fair on people who have spent their whole lives supporting and funding a football club that they love. Apologies to anyone who loves and supports M&S, by the way.
  12. You'd hope, as a major shareholder, Club1872 could raise things that matter to the ordinary supporter. I think most Bears agree about the poor press we get. I'd like the club and/or C1872 to advise fans not to buy the Sun or the Record, for starters. Re: action taken to back you up as a Rangers supporter - we have problems all around in that regard. The board seem fairly uninterested, we struggle to agree on anything (Dave King, safe standing, Tim allocation at Ibrox and there are hundreds of other things) which makes it easy for our enemies and then you have the press, the Police and our lovely SNP, who can't wait to have a pop at us. Where the Hell do we start?
  13. So if your mum and dad are Scottish but the dad gets a job in Paris and they have you over there, you're French? Even if you move back to Scotland when you're 6 months old? Seems a bit daft.
  14. Anti-Reiverism! ? Reminds me of us continually being told that Highland dress is our national dress - absolute poppycock! Borderers never wore skirts...sorry, kilts. I don't mind the grandparent rule. Gives some more lads a chance to play international football.
  15. We don't really use the word loch in the Scottish Borders, so that's a bit unfair.
  16. What if your mum is in the Iranian embassy when her waters break? You'd be born on Iranian territory.
  17. I see John was subbed on 56 mins and Wales are 1-0 down.
  18. Perhaps. Are you suggesting fans should just keep out of it and hope for the best?
  19. I was referring to the fanzine, not the forum. But I agree with you on Murray.
  20. Probably not much but at least we'd have people closer to the situation than we did previously.
  21. I think the current board have the right intentions. I'm not they sure they have the wherewithal to succeed in making these intentions a reality though...but time will tell.
  22. Any positivity about Whyte and Green (ugh) only lasted a few months into their respective stints. Ahmed and Llambias were both dodgy gits and I don't think the support afforded either of them the benefit of the doubt for long. The Easdales always were just placemen for Ashley. We got rid of all these chancers within a fairly short space of time, in relative terms. Of course, the support have to take some responsibility bit we have been limited in what we could do in many instances. Murray sold our club down the river and should never be forgiven for his part in our troubles. But this is why we need fan involvement - to ensure things like this don't happen again. I have Bear pals who think things like Club1872 are a total waste of time and I disagree completely. How many times do we have to turn a blind eye to nefarious shenanigans in the boardroom before we learn our bloody lesson!?!?
  23. Which dodgy feckers and are you sure no one batted an eye(lid)? I remember Follow Follow fanzine moaning a lot about Murray in the 90s, so think some fans have questioned the board for years.
  24. I see a memorial service was held for him today in Clydebank (Everton Heritage Society were involved). He had one cap for Scotland, was an Everton captain and also the first captain of Liverpool. He played for Renton and then WBA before moving to Merseyside. Quite an interesting story and it seems the Everton Heritage Society are not too dissimilar to our Founders Trail.
