  1. Regulation, regulation, regulation is what is needed. Rules same as the rest of us. :box:

    Maurice Edu

He does a job, hopefully will improve with more games under his belt. Good at winning the ball, but can just as easily give it away again. Problem is, what are our other choices for central midfield?
  3. He got far too much space.
  4. Is it not the case that one individual on the Trust Board is the catalyst for all the agro. Does it not come down to what is more important, The Trust or MD?
  5. As far as I can make out, he bought tickets [a table] for a doo, and never paid for it, until 1/2 years later. Is this correct?
  6. From the Assembly Site, The Bluenose.Com Hugh Hendry ready to make a move for Rangers? 14 Hours, 4 Minutes ago Karma: 0 I have heard through the grapevine that a certain Hugh Hendry is making interesting noises behind the scenes about acquiring Rangers. I have to say that I have very mixed feelings about Hendry's motives with regard to Rangers. Hendry is originally from Glasgow and is the boss of a major hedging company which basically tries to make huge amounts of money by taking huge gambles. For what it's worth, he seems to be very good in a field which is heavily populated by sharks. But why Rangers? I can only assume that he has heard something about future prospects for Rangers outside Scotland. He is a big, big buddy of SDM which again kind of worries me. He was born into a very poor working class background in Castlemilk and he is definitely from a Rangers family, although he is no fan of the game! I am concerned about the likes of him getting involved as we saw what people with a similar background can do; the Yanks at Liverpool. If I hear any more I'll keep you informed
  7. Have you not phoned his mobile yet?
  8. OK the guy has written a book, that is DEs choice. What I don't understand, if it was so bad with death threats etc. that it ruined his marraige, and upset his life so much. Why bring it all back into the public eye, it will not make things any easier for him. But then perhaps he likes the publicity.
  9. It didn't last long.
  10. 'On Thursday last, the Interim Secretary advised me that subsequently the auditors dropped the reference to the loan in the final version of their letter based on the legal advice received by the Board. I have asked for sight of the legal advice but this has not been forthcoming. They also dropped all references to the cash transactions; no explanation has been given for that, so one can only speculate as to the reasons for the auditors actions in that respect'. I'm lost here, why would Auditors act in this way??
  11. Yeah Frankie that's true, they need the money. Though the SPL would know the fixtures likely to be televised beforehand.
  12. Last game at the week-end Champions League on Wedensday First game on the Saturday I know TV has a lot to do with it, but this is ridiculous, Do the SPL care about Europe and Scotlands reputation.
  13. Members of the Board, ex-members of the Board [how many are there now] you have turned the Trust into a joke. As an ex-member, I would no longer give a penny to any organization calling itself The Rangers Trust, the quicker it is disbanded the better, you are bringing the name Rangers into disrepute.
  14. Good on you, my feelings as well.
  15. Why have money in an account where you don't earn interest? Let's hope the 80k is earning interest.
  16. Perhaps I am being simple minded, but if the Trust was worth fighting for, and the allegations against former board members were untrue, why did they resign, why not stay and fight?
  17. From the Chairman Johnston praised Bain and Smith for their work in turning around Rangersââ?¬â?¢ finances, but stressed that the situation still demanded caution. For example, offering new terms acceptable to Miller, who is out of contract in May, was not straightforward. Smith is hopeful that the top scorer is close to accepting a deal but Johnston stressed the club could only go so far. ââ?¬Å?As a fan I would do it in a millisecond. As chairman I have to look at the consequences of any decision in two or three yearsââ?¬â?¢ time. I donââ?¬â?¢t want to commit all the budget we may have for player manoeuvrings when we might have a much more critical reason for needing that money three years from now. We have to stand by our decisions and live with the consequences.ââ?¬Â Full Article. http://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/spl/rangers/improved-figures-but-johnston-admits-new-contracts-still-capped-1.1056906
  18. Probably a coincidence.
  19. Is it just me, a bit disappointed to be truthful. Players sold Wages down Turnover up Operating profit up Expenses down. Debt down less than £4m!!
  20. I'm not saying it will happen!! How many players have lost form, after signing a new contract??
  21. The Club has been a bit more pro-active in answering our critics, during his absence. Let's hope this continues.
  22. I didn't see much protest against Murray during the shambles of the 'takeover'. The majority still hold Murray in high regard, we either find a way to work with him, or he ignores us as usual.
  23. Walter seems to think Webster will be available for the week-end. We have had some hard-fought games with my old club since we returned to the club and I'd expect this one to be a tight affair as well. 'The players are currently taking a couple of days off after their exertions in England and I hope that allows them to freshen up. We've got a hectic schedule at present and as well as working hard on the training ground, we must ensure everyone has sufficient rest too. That's especially the case with the small squad we have and at the weekend there could be an opportunity for some of those who didn't play in midweek to get some action. James Beattie needs to get minutes under his belt while Nikica Jelavic is available again and Vladimir Weiss will want to be involved. They will all be considered and with Andy Webster and John Fleck back in the picture again, it's pleasing I have a fully-fit pool with plenty of options to turn to'.
  24. Keevins [i know] said on RC this morning 'it was an unrecognisable Man Utd team'.
  25. I thought Radio Scotland were decent to us last night.
