  1. I'm sorry, but the WDB banner was awfull. It looked to me like some school kid greeting in the playground, the sentiments may be ok, but banners don't always work. The Trust also have the problem of being associated with protests, rightly or wrongly. Many Supporters they would have to target, are against this type of behaviour. Also as wabash says, it may be time to involve professionals.
  2. You have more worries than we have.:spl:
  3. A lot will depend on who goes, until then how do we know what positions we have to cover. One of the reasons Smith likes versatile players like Lee and Kirk.
  4. Played well, but not up against much.
  5. It's an insight into people, who many of us do not know personally. Frankie once said on this Forum 'it was time to put the split in the RST behind us, and move on'. It seems those involved, may be the wrong ones to move the Support onwards.
  6. Reading FF at the moment is no advert for Fan Groups.
  7. http://www.rangers.co.uk/articles/20100615/announcement-by-murray-group_2254024_2071605
  8. Any link, that's on FF but no link provided so far.
  9. Perhaps the 'source' is at the WC !!
  10. As someone who has never met any posters on here, or on FF [as far as I am aware]. If you know them Frankie, do any of these posters that give out 'inside information', have any link to the Board/Management.
  11. NARSA are having a convention in Skeggy this weekend, there are whispers Mr Ellis might make a fleeting visit to meet AJ. I will ask the donkeys to keep their ears open.
  12. Good on you Wash. I was brought up in the 'Wee Frees' myself. Good to see some Churches still believe in their roots. But the Free Presbyterian Church of Scotland deplored the plans and passed an official protest at its recent synod. A statement said it finds it "offensive that this visit results from an invitation to the Pope as Head of State, giving him that recognition and pretended legitimacy which he claims in opposition to the principles of the Reformation." It adds: "We deny that he is the head of the Christian Church or that he has any civil power which should receive recognition by any State, particularly one which has renounced his pretended jurisdiction." Describing the Papacy as "deceitful and unrighteous", the Free Presbyterians highlighted recent global exposure of child abuse by Roman Catholic clergy, and suggest the Pope has connived in a cover-up. It also highlighted that the tour is scheduled for the key anniversary of the Scottish Reformation in 1560. The Free Presbyterian Church adds: "We find it particularly offensive that this visit will commence in Edinburgh where, 450 years ago, under the brave and godly leadership of John Knox and our other Reformers, the jurisdiction of the pope was forever abolished."
  13. If Akers was in Vegas, someone on RM will have had his picture taken with him.
  14. How do you know this mate ?
  15. If Ally is to be manager next season [i wonder whether new owners will change the situation]. Surely he must have some say on the players coming and going this season.
  16. Surely we will not go down that road again. We should not pay inflated wages to players, who in the future will not want to leave for anything lower.
  17. The nearer it comes, the more wary I feel over the details.
  18. One of his better attempts.
  19. It will be 433/451 in Europe, certain WS will play this formation, interesting to see if Lafferty can play up on his own.
  20. Also from AJ tonight. Also, for the record, AJ was asked at the NARSA Q & A today over there about the Ellis deal...... He seemed quite positive about it and said 'I need to be careful what I say due to stock market regulations but it's definitely not dead' SDM also constantly referred to as 'Murray'. Stated he was warned he'd be yellow carded as chairman if he blabbed about the Ellis deal but I think it was half jokingly.
  21. I think it was the poster that was banned from FF last night. I will just say if this comes from Vegas, it must be from the Rangers Board, and not Murrays camp.
  22. For Maine. from FF tonight Before I start with this, I just want to make a few things clear. I wont be answering PMs about what Im posting, or answering any questions about specifics about the details etc. With regard to what Ive found out thus far, its been a few straight answers to questions via text and thats it. To add another caviat to this, I have never once stated that I will be getting the confirmation date of the Ellis takeover, the only thing Ive put a timescale on is the information being confirmed as accurate. Before the the cull last night, you will see that Id managed to find out that part of the information I was given has turned out to be wrong, part of it has turned out to be right. This is why I never posted every last detail of what I was told. As some of you know, Im fairly close to many people in NARSA. What I can say thus far is that like what sccgers said and I backed up last week: Andrew Ellis and Murray have agreed a deal for his most or all of his shares in RFC. As many of you who seem to have been baiting me recently will be keen to point out, it hasnt been signed and sealed yet, but it has been agreed. Unfortunately, most of you, like me, would love to know when it will be signed and I cant answer that because I dont know. If I was to give my opinion, I think its at the End-Game despite some people suggesting it hasnt even started. Admin know how Ive been given this information, as do many of you, what you do with it, whether you believe it or not etc is entirely up to you. The information has come from as solid a source as you could possibly get...dont waste your time asking me who it is. For the record, if a manuscript of some sort comes out from the NARSA AGM today, I fully expect AJ, Bain and Smith to deny or not acknowledge takeover talk or give any hints about this.
