  1. All three would be tricky away. A trip to Bosnia is the worst case really, I wouldn't like to go there. The Swiss are always going to be tricky, they are the strongest side. Lincoln Red Imps are clearly the weakest side but they play on a plastic pitch in a hot climate and as we all know, they have been known to nick a result in those conditions. A home tie against any would be good.
  2. I know they aren’t, I said 5 of those are loans.
  3. It's interesting to see the clubs we have strengthened somewhat this season. 5 of those are loans and they won't play against us this season. There may be more to come. Ross McCrorie has been very well received by Aberdeen, their fans believe they stole a watch and we will regret it. Hastie - Motherwell Murphy - Hibs Ross McCrorie - Aberdeen Robby McCrorie - Livingston Holt - Livingston Alnwick - St Mirren Stephen Kelly - Ross County
  4. They’re the best team at taking points off Celtic though so I’m all for giving them a helping hand this season
  5. Aberdeen - 60% - 0 shots on target St Mirren - 74% - 2 shots on target St Johnstone - 75% - 2 shots on target Livingstone - 79% - 1 shot on target Kilmarnock - 75% - 0 shots on target Hamilton - 70% - 2 shots on target May as well update this. It’s no wonder we are keeping clean sheets. Our keepers have only had 7 saves to make in 6 games so far. They must feel a little guilty picking up their wage at the end of the week.
  6. That looked so easy. Ran at them and they didn’t know what to do. That shows why you need to have a go at goal too, it causes chaos.
  7. Thought Barisic did really well leading up to that one and Roofe did so well to direct his header on goal. Hope that goal gives Hagi the confidence he needs.
  8. Pleased with the lineup. Roofe up top and Hagi playing deeper in Aribo’s position. Interesting to see Barker being given a run in the team. I hope he gets some fans off his back.
  9. This one was a bit different. A few on FF had said they’d heard it before it was reported. The bottom line is if it was Celtic loaning out fringe players to Hibs and Aberdeen we would all be moaning about it, so I am glad it is us doing it.
  10. Yeh. I’m a fan of Murphy’s but Gerrard isn’t. In a season like this though I can see sense in sending strong fringe players to teams who could take points off Celtic. It would weaken them against us too.
  11. The original source seems to be a wee russian article which ended by saying we didn't actually follow it up. So even if that source is correct nothing is happening with it. Slow day at the DR.
  12. Available on a free, but surely well out of our wage budget and frankly, league.
  13. Enjoyed that, thanks.
  14. I see Ajer has tentatively asked how much would be required for him to leave... https://www.glasgowtimes.co.uk/sport/18680687.kris-ajers-representatives-ask-celtic-valuation-allow-leave/
  15. It is. It’s an advantage to sleep and train where you always do and play on your own park. Travelling is always a disadvantage. Albeit the crowd is the biggest advantage.
  16. He also said the game was easier than expected.
  17. It’s a random draw. So yeh one team is disadvantaged.
  18. Of course it’s the preference but our fans need to get away from the idea that our best players are pretty much never for sale. Using the transfer market to our advantage is a way of progressing the club like clubs across the continent have done for a while.
  19. Much as we like to focus on ourselves, this is one result we can’t ignore every season. Champions League group money pretty much guarantees dominance domestically. Three seasons in a row they have messed this up now and they’ve given us a real chance of levelling things up. We have a shot at the Champions League ourselves next season too, and whatever anyone says about Gerrard his specialty is Europe. I’ve said for some time that the one way to truly overtake Celtic is to make the Champions League group stage or to make huge player sales. Finance is everything unfortunately.
  20. Yeh definitely, Gerrard said he wanted a midfielder.
  21. He rose to the occasion. However the challenges of playing in very technical team and league would be different to playing for Rangers in the EL in my opinion.
