Not a thing, because we don't have the financial muscle to affect (or effect) anything.

There's nothing more than solidarity with the team that we can do, and that was kind of on show yesterday, but it's not something Bears specialise in.

We'll take whatever comes as we have no choice.

Nothing because we have an apathetic support who believe that the club will never be allowed to fold , or even better there is a big secret millionaire about to save us , both bollocks we are in a shit state and no one is coming to the rescue

What about a situation were we go under to pop up again in the English league somewhere?

I don't think the Rangers will go under. The danger is that what's left will resemble nothing we recognise.

However, I've always believed that the key was getting rid of Murray and that there would then be no shortage of people wanting to own the club.

I'd like to ask what the good Bears of GersNet think that Rangers fans' groups can do and should be doing or saying, about the current 'bank situation'

As you might know, I'm interested from an RST perspective particularly but I'm also interested in any wider discussion.

Cheers.

Given the limited level of information and the lack of understanding that we have of the situation, I'm not sure there is much to be said, until you get a clearer pciture.

Perhaps you could call for a clarification of the level of the bank's involvement, given Walter's impression that they are now running the club.

I think all the groups can do is offer support to the manager and playing staff, and ask for further clarification from the board about the influence of HBOS in the following;

1. The day to day running of the club

2. The acceptance or refusal of any bids for current players

3. How acceptance or refusal of any bids for the shareholding held by Murray

In addition to this I would also like clarified the following;

1. What limit is imposed on our bank facilities (both long-term and ongoing)?

2. What is our current balance, and what peak borrowing figure does our cashflow forecast suggest we will need between now and the end of the season, assuming no transfer activity in January in or out?

3. Is the £15M Murray group facility still available? If so, are we using it?

4. Has due diligence been completed, or is in the process of completion, between the club and any potential buyers in the last 12 months? If so, what was the reason for the failure to complete?

These are just off the top of my head, and I am sure there are many more. I wouldn't expect the club to reply to these questions either, but it is better than just releasing a statement asking for clarification of the situation, and does not have a go at anyone at the club, but is just asking some pertinent questions from worried fans.

I think the RST should be seeking some clarity from the board on the roles and responsibilities within the club plus giving the players and management some vestige of support.

What assets are held by Rangers FC?

What assets are held by MIH?

What is the likelihood of administration?

What timetable is Lloyds Banking Group working towards?

Muir seems to be the key to this. Either we trust him or we don't. If he's upfront and says that X, Y and Z will assist in the process then fair enough.

So i suppose it comes down to some sort of transparency. That's really what we want.

IMO the support will back a positive change even if there's some short term agony.
