Gersnet totally unusable with snow animation

For those who don't find it useful; If you press the wee arrows on the far right of the pop up it minimises it and I now don't notice it.

I do. Mines has been minimised and it still pops up whenever a new snowflake appears at the top of the screen. Annoying as fuck!

i've accessed the site on 3 different computers and haven't noticed any difference in quality due to the snow.

Sorry Gav, doesn't really bother me. Just sits away off to the right in the corner and I don't notice it. It pops up each time I open a new page I think but I don't notice it anymore than anything else on the page loading. Is yours popping up all the time with the snowflakes?

 

Like BD, I don't think the snow slows my laptop at all, however I can see it would be frustrating for others.

Agreed. Although I use Firefox which has been playing up a bit recently. No idea if it is any way linked to the Gersnet snow!
