RST's new Treasurer

Recommended Posts

If I told you every CA I've worked with was fully seized of their code of ethics, I'd have to abandon truth in the process.

A few have called or by innuendo claimed that they knew better than the rst auditor, but done nothing to back that claim up....cheap shot in anyone's language, even in the language of those of us who do not have words as one of our stronger points.....

So, the CA who signed off on the rst accounts, tell me about them, or are they a world apart.

dont know them so cant judge. As i said, UK GAAP (and IFRS) is rules based to open to interpretation. Their opinion obviously differs from mine - but not everything is black and white.

You will be telling me next that there is no such thing as a simple difference between right and wrong, thankfully the great majority of people are not so easily fooled, i.e. right is right and proper, wrong is just plain wrong to the extent of in many cases being illegal...but the wordsmiths like to inhabit their own little world, where all is safe and grey..:box:

I've already privately pointed out to the RST auditor why the accounts were wrong...and it was nothing to do with any of the issues under debate. :)
