Yeah, I forgot Upson and Woodgate were free transfers. Still, they're in for Crouch, Jerome and Palacios which, if SSN is to be believed, bring a combined total of approximately �£27m. We're out of Europe (he's partly to blame) and the Championship is a far higher level than the SPL. It would leave us horribly short up front through. There's not enough time! He can sign whilst abroad and can also undertake a medical whilst abroad.
