The playmaker has been on trial at Ibrox for the last week and has shown manager Ally McCoist he is worthy of a contract. The SPL champions have now opened negotiations with the 26-year-old on a deal until the end of the season. He was set to move to Borussia Monchengladbach last month but that deal collapsed because the Bundesliga side couldn’t free up a wage before the close of the transfer window. But this guy looks good and he's had interest from other large clubs. If he's not going to cost too much on the wage bill, taking into account he's not costing anything to sign, he could be worth a go. Of course, if he is any good, he will only attrach attention from down south. Is it a 6 month contract we're offering, or will it be the end of May? Negotiations between the club and the player’s representatives broke down over money.
