Because of his injury does insurance not pay his wages? I wouldn't think so. Insurance would, IMO, only pay out if a player was unfit to 'work'. I thought Jig had taken a significant wage cut when he signed his new deal, but I heard yesterday that he's still on about £20k p/w. Ok Celik hasn't been paid for.
