Just accept the transfer embargo and let's get on with it FFS!

Recommended Posts

If Green doesn't accept the transfer embargo this is just going to drag on and on, so I've changed my mind now and think Green should just accept the embargo and get down to the business of providing Ally with funds to buy in some very good youngsters.

We would still be able to sign U18 players and I don't see why we shouldn't be able to win the 3rd division with U18s to supplement what we have left of a squad.

We also have some very good players from our own youth teams such as the best from our U17s who were promoted up to help out our struggling U19 team last season.

Just get on with it and stop fannying about!

Green has no problem with accepting it, McCoist however does have a problem with it.

If we accept this illegal signing embargo then they'll come up with something else. Then something else. It will go on and on and on.

FFS can we not see it is Liewell who runs the SFA with Regan as his puppet. Green needs to fight fire with fire and start an all out assault on the corrupt SFA.

We've been punished enough: 10pt deduction to concede SPL title last season, heavily fined and not to mention demoted to div3. I rest my case

who runs a team with under 18's who haven't developed properly?

We hopefully wouldn't have to run a team full of completely inexperienced U18s though metlika. We're still going to have a few experienced players in our squad if we can manage to keep hold of Jig, Alexander, Broadfoot, Wallace and maybe one or two more plus we have players like Hutton, Perry and others who've played for our first team at the top level and been capped by the U19 and U21 national squads. Then there's our remaining current young guns who've outgrown the U19 team and already been out on loan at Division 1 & 2 teams. Add on to that lot the very best players in our current crop of U19s & U17s.....

So.... (sshhhh....don't tell anyone  ) we DO actually have the basis of a squad that only really needs boosted by buying in some shit hot 17/18 year olds (if we were to accept this transfer embargo and were only able to sign U18s for a year).

Agreed, not a bad line up, but what happens when we get injuries to experienced players?
