Union Bears Statement - Boycott

Recommended Posts

It seems a bit hypocritical if Green will not support a boycott but he will refuse to take Rangers into the SPL. Don't understand the diifference in approach.

Can the club/CG get into trouble with the SFA for supporting a boycott?

The general feeling here is 'don't give them our money'

Hypothetical question: What if we draw the game - do we boycott the replay at Ibrox?

For me its about more than not giving them money , its about making a statement that we as a support will no longer sit back and allow these scumbags to walk all over us. and that what they done to our club has not, and never will be forgotten.

THe SFA have shown that they can give Rangers into trouble for anything. However can't see why they can be forced into accepting and distributing tickets.

All Charles Green has to say is that "We have no comment to make on the calls from certain supporter's organisations for a boycott of the game against Dundee Utd., however, we do recognise that Rangers supporters have the right to decide where and when they choose to spend their own money".

Charles Green and our Board of Directors should show the required leadership by refusing to attend the game. On a matter of principle, I would rather we cede the tie than anyone with the remotest support for our club gave a single penny to those cnuts.

The team would still have to attend and play out the fixture or the SFA would turn to their rules & reg's and hammer us.

I fully understand the situation and what they did to us, they've already walked all over us and the only way to get revenge is by beating them on the football park and a full Rangers support behind the team will make this more of a possibility...ask the management staff and players and as sure as night follows day they'll want the fans there for maximum backing and encouragement.

Going there with no fans and losing the game will achieve absolutely nothing.
