Green and the bulk of his initial consortium remain completely in control of the club (and its board) so if Green did fancy coming back, he'd do so and we'd have to like it or lump it. Back in the 60s/70s 'when we were young', it was the team I supported, hardly gave it a thought who ran or owned the Club. Made a similar point in the FWW book mate in that it's amazing how the ownership of clubs (and especially RFC) is now talked about more than ever. I guess it's probably down the 24 hour news obsession but at RFC specifically you can put it down to the likes of SDM being desperate for media coverage to further his business activities.
