My point obviously was that we may have to sell due to financial problems whereby the club needs to make up a shortfall. I'm pretty sure you know that's what I meant but for whatever reason you have chosen to nitpick. Only you know why you did that..

Selling our better players is nothing new to be honest so shouldn't come as a surprise to us now or in the future.

 

We can only hope such sales reflect good deals like Gio, Boumsong and Hutton as opposed to desperate ones like Jelavic. That's where Graham Wallace's qualities will be tested.

He may get some stick for it, but it gets the figure out there - repeatedly. The more it is talked about, the more the value gets accepted. Teams down south then think they get a bargain @ £8-9m

Agreed. Not sure we'd get such a value in the current tier but we should certainly maximise any speculation.

 

Wallace, for all his faults, is a very good modern full back. We should be looking for top dollar as much as possible.

£8m - 10m is crazy for where we are - I would be very happy with £3-4m.

 

But you have people like Mark Guidi saying we would be lucky to get £1m
