Does it matter? Someone had to do it. IMHO, there is an underlying paranoia that borders to the extreme. What ties would a former CEO of Manchester City have to any of the naughty naughty people up here? Or - dare I say it - Craig Whyte? Just to keep you posted:

Do you think that such a person a) is not his own man, b) needs any money that whoever at our board or from the conjectured "shadow cabinet" offers, and c) be a puppet of someone else? Some should, for the time being, take a step back and look how things will unfold. That said, the constant sniping will not change anything at the club anyway.

He does have a good CV, but taking all you say on board, would it be fair to say that he was unemployed for almost a year before he got offered our job, not implying anything either way, it's just a question.

Regardless, the circumstances of his leaving Man City are not clear.

Do we know whether he was actually doing a job inbetween? Just saying.

That was really my question; perhaps he was doing some consultancy work, perhaps living off a big pay off?

I just think it's a question worth asking, don't you?

As has been pointed out elsewhere; his main job at Man City seems to have been spending money; his main job here is saving money, at least in the short term; but we will soon see if he is up to it.

Regarding his "off-time" ... not really. Regarding him leaving ManCity a "may be". Do not exactly know what his job at ManCity included and whether it was all just about spending money. In any case, he's been working for a rather big company before that too.

Obviously, people could come up with various theories about him being sacked for lavish spending at ManCity. That he needs to pay off e.g. his ex.-wife, girlfriend, house in Spain et al, and hence needs any money he can get, even if it comes from Whyte or Green or the Easdale. Yet, don't we agree that should somesuch be really an issue, our investigative friends from the media and the obsessed would have found out? The rather complete silence on their part might actually point untowards the opposite.

Before joining Manchester City, Mr Wallace was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of IMG Media, the global sports and entertainment media company, from October 2006 to March 2009..

If anyone is looking for links between Graham Wallace & anyone connected to RFC.....;the most likely link is to Alastair Johnston via IMG media, where Johnston is a director.
