Let me understand this. They claim to be frightened for their safety visiting Glasgow, so they want more tickets. Really? Is that so more of them can be frightened for their safety, so more fans can be put in danger by those big bad angry Rangers fans who might shout bad words at them.

I mean if you are so frightened that you don't want to bring your children along then why do you want more tickets? I'm sure there's logic somewhere, but I'm fucked if I can find it.

Of course maybe it's just more made up shite from a club that have specialised in made up shite in recent years.

It's a strategy.

Low key climb down has amplified interference of safety, particularly child safety run against it. A single journo was picked to do both stories.

Further, Rangers are the problem. Steven Hughes references our hatred for Celtic(expressed as a one way street), flags up similarities with Aberdeen, and the Arabs are being helplessly drawn into this vortex of hate radiating from Rangers.

Reads more like desperately trying to paddle back out of shit creek to me!

I'm actually really fucking angry at that mail article by DU fans. It's not the fucking Colosseum with a fight to the death for fucks sake. Amazingly, we've held plenty of games at Ibrox without saftely fears.

The club HAVE to respond to this.

Rangers must say something on the safety aspect, they can't let it go without comment.

That is up to the SFA.

It's their tie, and they are arranging policing, security etc.

This has nothing to do with Rangers.

It's an SFA Cup semi final!

Are the club seriously going to say nothing about this slur on the fans?

As regards to the slurs on fans etc., that has me fizzing.

I held off writing a letter to the SFA last night, as I really think there should be a more inclusive type of letter sent to the SFA and the media.

In the absence of a Board that looks after our interests, it might be an excellent opportunity for the UOF to do a bit of lobbying and garnering of fan support.
