I'd would say his contribution has been trying his very best for Rangers, exactly. That it hasn't been good enough is beyond debate. But to go from that point to 'waste of a wage' and 'should be booted out' is not just a step too far for me, but a whole day's walk.

Durrant was classic "jobs for the boys" - and it has been an absolute shambles.

I think we're heading for administration.

Everyone seems to have given up.

The situation is definitely a lot worse than the directors have been letting on because there's no way the Ibrox staff Christmas party would've been cancelled and employees with decades of service punted without proper redundancy packages if we weren't in very serious trouble and right in the financial shitter again.

It would be interesting to find out if December's payroll and bills have been paid yet.

Ally's legacy a squad that's virtually worth feck all, he'll still get is £14k for this week though so why should he bother.

That's not even considering the inflated wages he sanctioned for most of this squad.

Around 40 outfield players at 17 and above of which THREE are naturally left footed, all are left backs and one is an 18 year old that's been injured for a year. It would be funny if it wasn't so serious, it could hit double figures against this team.

I have been critical of the players that he signed, but McCoist didn't sanction what wages were paid to anyone. That blame lies with the various board members who have overseen this shambles.

The trouble is we are all falling into the trap of arguing with each other and berating management etc ....These problems will not stop until we rid ourselves of the cancer that is the board.

The Club ownership needs sorted out first before the directors otherwise we'll just see a continuation of the boardroom revolving door and musical chair games that have cost the Club a small fortune in pay-offs in only a little more than 18 months since Green & Ahmad 'left'.

We need an owner or consortium of owners we can fully trust, followed by directors we can fully trust, an ambitious managerial appointment, a clear out of the first team playing squad and we need all of that to happen ASAP.

That's a clear way forward Zappa. I suspect we'll get anything but from the current shower of so-called Directors.

Before Feb 1st, preferably!

Bullshit McCoist had an input in every player he signed and would have had his idea what they were worth. Kevin Kyle never said he had a meeting with the board, his meeting was with McCoist and when he asked for £2k Ally said "nae bother". I know the same thing happened with another player on much higher wages, it's highly unlikely this would be two in isolation.

At best Green used McCoist as a useful idiot or at worst McCoist saw it as a chance to make a right few quid if he went along with it. No matter who has appeared on the scene, McCoist at least I Initially said they were "good guys".

To quote "I won't make a decision that is detrimental to the club". Paying Kevin Kyle £2k a week isn't detrimental to the club ?
