to him? weeks ago.

i am a friend of a friend.

actually when I read that again it makes my blood boil that the useless (fill in the blank) has been on an exit strategy for 6 weeks and still took the coin for ruining us even further. I wish him nothing he has been a complete fraud.

It's clear that King views the RST and RF as the main fans groups inasmuch as their shareholdings and the proxies they harvested to support him put them in that position and it's equally clear that HE decided who would represent these fan groups, which is not exactly a very deomcratic process.

Whilst I have no particular feeling one way or the other on James Blair representing me as a member of RF, I don't know the other RF Board members and would have welcomed an opportunity to vote for my representative.

If I was a member of RST then I think I would feel more strongly because so far as I am aware Chris Graham is not an elected member of that Board but even if he is, I would still have wanted an opportunity to vote.

I don't think the appointments needed to be made with such haste.

Ordinarilly, absent a vote, one might expect the Chair of each organisation to be the invitee, but again that didn't happen here. I am sure that Gordon Dinnie will be magnanimous because he has no choice but deep down I'm equally sure that after all his years in the RST he might just feel a tad aggrieved that someone who has only been on the Board for 6 months is selected ahead of him.

The way it has been done reinforces the view that it is for services rendered to Mr King rather than any genuine attempt at democratic fan representation.

It also begs the question: who is going to represent the rest of the fans?

This post is a load of rubbish. One might think that your comments, about Letham/Dinnie feeling aggrieved, are a deliberate attempt to stir things up.

You know that board appointments are not governed by democracy. You know that King, Murray and Gilligan have a considerable mandate from the shareholders. You also know that interested parties will have a chance to vote at the next Rangers AGM and the next RST AGM.

Yet another thing that you know is that the fans who don't get involved with a share ownership scheme will find themselves without any representative that can be held accountable. Sort of the point of getting organised but, uh, you know this.

the greenco supporters are really struggling to get on board here. quite funny to watch

they were only supporting the club not the regime

so it won't matter to them who is on the Board or who they invite to sit in the Directors Box.

everytime they talk they infer or even state "the fans want" which they have no right to do. They should be saying "our members" .Have never once seen any of them correct the fallacy"fans spokesman"

as for a few dozen thats just poor. The greater support stay clear of the RST for well known reasons as evidenced by thd number of members they have managed to attracted over 9years of trying. Until they remove themselves completely from you know whos shadow they will continue to remain stunted in their growth.

the apathy excuse went out the window when the RF outstripped them in a meare 12 months of exsistance. for me evidence that they understand the wider supportes thinking and desires

for me it is a wasted oppertunity that will now be used to grow Rst stremgth that it could not achieve on merit. How long before they push RST membership as automatic when buying a st? would far prefer the elected fans board instead of unelected groups aligning themselves

This post is a load of rubbish. Most of the fans I speak to barely know who, uh, 'you know whos' [sic] is. Let alone care about any of the associated online drama.

Your point about RST memberships is very silly indeed. Why would any public limited company endanger the main source of revenue in such a way?

Gibberish.

I was taken in by Green at first.

He slew our enemies on telly and I liked the cut of his jib

It took me about a year to realise capitalism wasn't just a book by Groucho Marx

learning at first hand how our club was stripped, with fly by nights making a lot of money

I am happy to accept SB's statement that Dinnie was offered and declined the post.
