It’s nearly a year since Saints sold the hitman to Sheffield Wednesday for £800,000 following his prolific scoring record north of the border. The goals haven’t flowed much down south and there were times when Stevie was left out of the Wednesday side. However, new Rangers team boss Mark Warburton was impressed with the Newburgh lad when he was manager of Brentford and earlier tried to get him on loan.
