RIFC v Sports Direct: No contempt of court - injuction to be discussed in January

@STVGrant: Rangers spokesman on SD loan: "Matter is in hand, the money is there. There is a commitment for a bank transfer for the remaining £500,000."

@STVGrant: Rangers expect to have repaid Sports Direct, and had securities returned, by end of month.

Rangers, with that statement, contradicting what their lawyer said in court on Thurs. Let's see if latest statement turns out to be accurate

Well, apparently the accountant (etc.) handed the lawyer some incorrect or - let's say not up to date info. Or the lawyer got the impression - from what he was told - that the money was already transferred. (Same for King & Co. as I doubt they were doing the bank transfers themselves either.) So if anything, it was at worst unfortunate. That the media had to make a story out of it was to be expected. Nothing beats us for positive or even better negative story in this current climate, it seems.

In the end, we have to screw our nuts just a little tighter, but that's it.

At worst it should have been brought to the QC's attention during the lunch break in order to correct the error when the Court rose after the break.

Both our Chairman and Company Secretary were in Court so I fail to see why it wasn't done.

The negative spotlight within our saga should have been very much upon Ashely/SD this week to join alongside all the other flak coming his way but we seem to have gone and scored an OG which also allows the proAshley and antiRegime agitators and spindoctors to counter attack with ease.

Very frustrating.
