To combat this I think we need to dominate possession and avoid losing the ball in central areas where we might be countered quickly (we've seen us lose goals v Motherwell and Kilmarnock in exactly these scenarios), as this creates the circumstances that Griffiths thrives in. They have only bought Sinclair and Dhimbele in attack and Dhimbele has hardly set the ground on fire. Tierney did nothing in the semi until Law came on and let him dance around him. We hardly gave them a kick of the ball at Hampden and their midfield is the exact same. But they look a more settled side than we do right now and we've misplaced the zip that overwhelmed their midfield last time out. Ach well, if we lose it'll hurt, if we get thumped it'll hurt more but it's not like it hasn't happened before and when we've not had the relative disadvantage we do at the moment. Ser Barristan Selmy 222 Posted September 8, 2016 Share Posted September 8, 2016 Whilst we have worries about the defence, the fact that Celtic will want to attack us, should actually help the way we play. Celtic are the favourites but they're not as good as some people seem to think they are. Who thinks they're good? Their struggling performances in Europe this season against poor sides shows that they aren't. Not to mention it's not long ago we beat them in the cup. The problem is more how poor we are, as opposed to how good they are.
