Uilleam 5,490 Posted February 10, 2017 Share Posted February 10, 2017 (edited) I am told, although I cannot warrant this: The agent of the 3 Amigos (pace the bunnet hustler) told the Club, Mon, that they wished to resign and leave the Club, with no compen either way. The Club agreed. The agent prevaricated, as the Forest gig was not cut and dried. This appointment fell through, and the agent returned to the Club, saying he wanted to negotiate a financial package for his clients. The Club said "No, your clients have already resigned, on agreed terms." Hence the Club, tonight, announced/confirmed the resignations. Not sure why you would be surprised. Loyalty counts for nothing these days; money talks and I bet the money at NF was about double what they were on here. Hopefully he fancies Kiernan and Tavernier so much that he'll take them wherever he lands next. I really thought MW & Weir would have been great for our club but the gap between us and "them" is just too wide. There is a pattern that former good players cant coach their position. McLeish and McCoist straight away join Weir.
