Had Warburton, Weir and McParland been sacked by Rangers – whose board had become disenchanted by repeated connections with clubs in England - the club would have had to pay £1.2 million compensation. Agreed, but everything is sounding verbal at the moment which holds no weight at all. In football losing a manager is a regular occurrence, so having a replacement in mind even on a temporary basis should be par for the course. This week they got the opportunity I really would like to see some flesh on the bones of that rumour. To me - and no disrespect - that sounds like the claims that the Russians fiddled with the elections in the US of A so that Trump stole the show. Reading between the lines of what little we know, the board have got it right.
