Show Racism the Red Card apologises to Club 1872

Recommended Posts

Just catching up on this debate. I’m with Gonzo and GS on this. Vile woman knew exactly who he was. She followed him on twitter and anyone that believes she wasn’t fully aware of his activities is deluding themselves.

She must resign or be pushed as her position is untenable. There is no place in that organisation for bigots and haters. They have lost all credibility.

You just have to look at their history and actions to realise that, in fact, their is a place for bigots and haters. It's pretty straight forward.

She's been rumbled, her agenda was clear. To give a notorious bigot a platform to preach his hate. well done C1872 for forcing an apology out of SRTRC. Sad thing is these people get into positions of power in Scotland then abuse that power to set the agenda, NDM , BBC Scotland, Daily Record, The Sun are other prime examples of this infiltration of Rangers, PUL, Unionist community haters that dominate the narrative.

C1872 and the club should be demanding she resign. They should be highlighting this prejudice and discriminatory behaviour to anyone who will listen. We can all post online be but it means nothing without substance.

That's not a genuine apology, it's a 'damn, we have been bust, best make a mealy mouth admission of sorts'. In all honesty, the apology is not in the public domain and all they are doing is apologising for being caught out. Anyone in that space is going to do some research before hand in terms of who they are partnering with, so their pleading of ignorance is total nonsense.

The raison d'etre for the organisation is a noble one, and it's a real shame that individuals allow their personal prejudices to arise within such a framework. Although within Scotland, that appears to be par for the course.

Sorry Davie but imo it's just another organisation funded by tax payers to give wages to failed sociology students.

When we're talking about a Scottish or Irish subsidiary we move into a whole different sphere - people who'd take offence at an episode of Noddy.

Timing-wise that is embarrassing from the club. An organisation that takes advice from a repulsive blogger who has done his best to have our club destroyed and we're wearing their jerseys in training.

Pretty sickening and embarrassing how weak and cowardly Rangers Football Club is these days. No wonder the yahoos are having such a laugh at our expense.

I disagree Club1872 have shown class that this guy couldn’t even spell.

We have acted with dignity and have taken the high ground.

You can’t always just blast, sometimes better to be diplomatic and look above those that would defame.

They were pictured with these tops on just the other day, from memory the day after this story broke, and from that I deduce that it was a clearly orchestrated move by both Club1872 and the Club. The fact that the organization 'SRtRC' had aligned itself with the sectarian Phill 10 names through its Campaign Manager Nicola Hay is in fact a travesty which questions the neutrality of that organization and the Club through Club1872 were right to pursue the issue. So on that front I agree with you. However it does leave the Campaign Manager Nicola Hay in a rather untenable situation one which I feel she will simply ignore until it goes away and the chances are that, with a compliant media, no external pressure will be exerted to remove her via the media. It seems to be the way of it these days that people in these positions have an absolute brass neck and just front it out till it goes away.

Further to this if you are going to say someone cant spell then you might want to be able to 'do spelling properly' yourself otherwise you could leave yourself looking rather foolish (Cataluyna= Catalunya).
