"Those glory days, when Rangers reached the equivalent of the Champions League semi-final and the final of the UEFA Cup, have been eclipsed by the success of Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic in recent seasons."

And not even with subtlety.

Wasn't it Hitler who commended the use of the lie 'so colossal that no one would believe that anyone would distort the truth so infamously'?

Wait, so Brendan Rodgers "invincibles" in a non-competitive league is a better achievement than reaching the UEFA Cup and the CL semi-final (which can easily be argued we were cheated out of the final...) ? Nope, I don't think so. Indeed, even Celtic's appearance in the UEFA final was more of an achievement than the invincibles IMHO - not taking anything away from Rodgers as it IS a very good achievement - but his team would get nowhere near the UEFA final - and his team would be soundly pumped by O Neill's Celtic too.

More like rewriting the present. The bad thing is, I do believe that tossers like him actually believe what filters from their brains to their fingertips ...

Is Gary Ralston not one of us though ?

Maybe writing for the Record forces a certain agenda right enough :ninja:

Well, perhaps his editor had to put in a line about the Yahoos.

But really, what have they done in Europe under Rodgers? The one thing he could brag about is the unbeaten run on the Scottish domestic scene, which may deserve some credit, up until you check the background. It's like congratulating Bayern to go unbeaten in Bundesliga 3.
