Seems to be the size of the sticky note - you can't scroll up to the top of it to click on the X to close, which  I was able to do to the sticky note that showed up when I initially landed on the new forum page, pre-login.

 

I sent myself one: I can remove it by clicking the dismiss 'x' at the top right.

 

Maybe @Frankie can help?

This does happen now and again to avoid you losing content accidentally.

 

When you first click back onto a thread then you should have the option to delete the saved text in one click should you wish to start your reply again.

 

Message will be in a black bar at the bottom of the quick reply box and says:

 

"Your previous content has been restored.   Clear editor"
