Sorry but the best financial deal negotiated by a guy who's only experience was doing same for Motherwell. Plus again it's not the best financial offer, that's only true if short term desperation is measure.

in the long run this will cost us income and lower our future potential to attract better deals as strip numbers drop as a result .

As much as I always urge caution when it comes club PR and distraction squirrels I'd rather be a bit more positive if it's all the same.

It seems there was a tendering process and as much as Stewart Robertson doesn't always impress me, I'm pretty confident that he and his peers on the board can judge each tender on its own merits and choose the best one.

I'm also confident the strip will sell in large numbers and hopefully we'll be in a better position to negotiate again in three years time.

If we don't make fairly rapid short-term strides then that in itself would be a lot more damaging than how you see a 3 year kit deal.

The truth of it that we are desperate for short-term finance.

The important aspect to it is that we invest/spend it more wisely this time.

I'm sure it will, and with the added benefit of it looking more distinctive than many other strips, that's gotta be a massive positive.

I'm not sure exactly what people are wanting here.....Hummel are a well known, global brand, but apparently not a suitable or big enough for Rangers.  They would rather be a tiny fish in a massive pond - as if the manufacturer of the kit is going to increase sales.  The kit will sell in large numbers regardless of who the manufacturer is.  There were folk shouting & complaining about Puma when they were 1st announced, overall they produced good strips etc, but were not without fault.

I'm actually quite excited to see the new strip design  - if they are anything like the fan mock-ups, they will look outstanding.

If the so called big boys didn't see Rangers as an attractive vehicle for their merchandise then so be it , welcome to Ibrox Hummell .

I am sure their financial investment will help the club in the three years deal .
